I bought these for a treat to cheer myself up a bit, and they did not disappoint. Firstly, they are simply beautiful to the eye from the classy (sturdy) gold-banded box to the vibrant bright colors of the macarons themselves. They arrived at my door on a rainy Sunday morning via Fed Ex—sooner than I expected—and what a moment of joy to discover such a lovely gift. With each macaron individually packaged in a tiny zip-lock bag, one is reminded that they are fresh baked from someone’s kitchen—and I mean that in a good way: i had the feeling that a friend had baked for me. I tried two, one of which was lemon and a lavender colored one. They were fresh to bite into with the perfect balance of delicate flavor, and amazing mouth-feel with the light crunch of the sponge and the smooth filling, crumbling slightly when I took a bite. I give these 10/10. The price is completely justified considering the fresh ingredients, the labor (macarons require considerable baking skill to get right), the deliciousness, the careful packaging, and the generous quantity of macaron.

TOP QUALITY & MUST HAVE FIRSTLY, I read many reviews before getting these and noticed a pattern: if you order these in the summer, you better be home to receive them. The fact people couldn't figure out why theirs were melted is disturbing. That’s their fault, not LeilaLove. The box comes with a label on both sides that says REFRIGERATE IMMEDIATELY. So if you weren’t home, that’s on you. Second, WOW! These are incredible. I have never eaten Macarons before, and I’ve been married to a Brit for 26 years. I went to Europe quite frequently and never bothered to try them. Now, when I’m at events or gatherings abroad, I’ll be picketing them🤣. These are great for my palate. As you can see from the pictures, they are the size of a tablespoon. They are pricey, but who cares when I’m enjoying them this much. They’re individually packaged, so I pick a flavor at night and take it up for my bedtime snack. Tonight is STRAWBERRY. I will definitely get some for my daughter’s bridal shower. They are the perfect guilty pleasure snack. I'm so glad I finally tried these and am learning all about them.

LeilaLove macarons are hands down the best I’ve ever had. This is the 2nd box I’ve ordered, & I am most definitely a return customer. My box arrived a few days early, as did the 1st box. The boxes are substantial & beautiful. It looks like a gift, making it extra special. Each macarons is individually packaged in mini ziplock bags. There is tissue paper to further give the feeling of receiving a gift, as well as bubble wrap to provide another layer of protection. Every single macaron in this box arrived to me in perfect condition! These are the most amazing & delicious macarons I’ve ever had. Leila adds a handwritten note expressing their gratitude for the purchase along with her phone requesting a personal call to let her know if there’s anything wrong with the order! Who does that? A baker who takes the time to make these phenomenal cookies who cares deeply about everything step leaving no detail undone. I’m in a town where it’s almost impossible to find macarons. The one or two places that infrequently have them overpriced, & do not have them displayed in a way that are tantalizing & fresh looking. I’m going to continue ordering from LeilaLove.

Just received my first box of macaroons from LeilaLove.. they didn’t make it to the refrigerator as suggested without a tasting.. delicious!!! *Order came days before projected delivery date (thanks!) *Box is beautiful and they (EACH macaroon) is protected by being packed in individual zip bags with bubble wrap around each one, plus a big piece of bubble wrap and paper on top! *They look beautiful and taste heavenly. *Included is a key telling what flavor each color is. This is somewhat helpful, but it’s really difficult for me to match macaroons to colors on key. ( might be helpful to make specific maps for each kind of box, so each box of a certain number of macaroons would have the same flavors and they would be in the same order as on the map/key) So I’m not sure what flavor the reddish one I ate was! But it was good! THANKS for a wonderful treat! I bought this as a reward to myself for having recent ankle replacement surgery... yummy!

Just ordered my 4th box in a month. My family and friends LOVE the flavors (gourmet and comfort)- they're so creative. The box is lovely. Better yet, each macaron is in its own plastic zip bag. The "map" inside makes adults as happy as a four year old kids. One can gift them in sets of four b/c the cookie "map" and individual packaging. I just wrote the flavor on each of the four, easily made many gift bags. I'll be buying them for birthdays, shower gifts and seasonal treats. Best of kind! We had already taste-tested our local options ($2.00 each plus tax. A bit dry. They were just OK. I ordered the Prime slightly less $$ options -- terrible, dry. No question there. The families who received them as gifts from us have already tried to order more. I popped them in the freezer before I read the instructions. They're to be refrigerated a month of storage. The ones I froze tasted really fresh after a half hour. My first ever review. I wish to save folks the time and $$ I wasted until I found theses specific cookies. Anyone with whom you share these will LOVE them--and they are a fine self-care treat.

The one I ate was delicious and fresh, however, 4 out of mine were smashed a bit. I would think they would be packaged better, especially at this price point. Also, I have no idea about the flavors I received as the majority of mine do not look like the guide. I understand they make substitutions, but it would be nice if each plastic bag had the flavor listed on it. I think I ate the raspberry one but it tasted a bit blueberry too. I was hoping to get the holiday box with nutcrackers on it but got a pink box.

I just recently "discovered" macarons after being gifted some from a french bakery. Mmmmm! Delightful! I have been hunting them ever since. I ordered these after reading reviews and a preponderance of hope. They are delightful. They arrived a week earlier than estimated. Each macaron is individually wrapped and arrived in good condition - which says a lot - because they are very delicate. They recommend refrigerating as soon as they arrive, which I did. They also provide a legend so you can choose/see what flavor you're eating. The box they come is totally gift worthy. In fact, as August is my mom's and my birthday month, I ordered her a box too after I tried these. These are pricey - but in my opinion well worth it. Now, I am new to macarons - so I don't consider myself a real connoisseur - I do think they are worth a try if you like macarons. I would definitely buy these particularly again.
