Ancient Secret of the Fountain of Youth.

It's Been One Year.
I've been using the Five Rites detailed in the book for one year. The results so far are interesting. While I do experience more energy, I have not had the amazing results listed in the beginning of the book. When I did skip a day, i noticed a big difference ini my energy level; so, something is happening. According to the book, it takes a full two years to get the benefits. So, in another year, I'll post a second review.

May Be a Powerful Addition to Your Lifestyle
Enlightening book by the mysterious Peter Kelder (by "mysterious", I mean that there really is not much info out there about him). A companion book to this, or, from what I have been reading, a more detailed book, is "The Eye of Revelation", which is the manuscript by Mr. Kelder which gives a clearer picture of the five Tibetan rites. That being said, I think both books would be good to have - both may have something to offer. I will probably procure a copy of the other book eventually. From some online research, the only real difference in the explanation of the "rites" would be centered around the third one. This book does not have the practitioner lean forward at the waist as it states in the manuscript (I gleaned this from info online and on YouTube). The exercises are to be practiced slowly, gracefully. Remember, to have any real value, these rites need to be practiced regularly - six or seven days per week (this book states that it would be okay to skip one day per week). I, also, practice a variation of Tai Chi Chuan - every day. It becomes a part of your life if you see any real value in it. I feel and see the value in these "rites", movements, exercises, whatever you want to call them, whether they are Tibetan (they are seemingly denying that these movements are theirs??) or not, they feel right to me. Many will be recognized by Yoga practitioners. I have been performing them since I received the book (which is a very quick read) - I have just started my fourth week and am completing 9 reps of each movement. They compliment my exercise and prayer routines. Don't strain and don't force anything - take it slow and listen to your body. All in all, I say buy this book, read it and do it! By the way, the advice on eating is very sound and I have read that info before, many years ago - I try to adhere to that way of eating whenever I can. Get the book and you will see what I mean. What are you waiting for??

I LOVE THIS BOOK
I LOVE THIS BOOK! what a simple and nice short read and the rites are easy and fun. Even so just doing the rites is a good wake me up and a nice way to start the day, it's a good quick way to stay limber. I already gave the book to a friend to read and she is looking into picking up her own copy.

I have purchased about 10 copies for friends and family as Christmas Gifts. I thank all the great teachers who have brought this ancient "youthing" secret to us!!

Highly recommended
Had superb outcomes from using the Rites (i.e. more solid energy, better physical strength..etc). Believe the main thing is to do, if possible, is to take lessons from someone who have practised The 5 Tibetans for a substantial amount of time to practise the rites correctly from the beginning. Under all circumstances take it slow and listen to your body. I am 35 as of writing this and have practised the rites since early 20s on and off - Kelder's book (first published in the 1930s) gave me the push to get started again.

Worth Reading
This little gem is worth reading. It is my second copy in the last 15 years and I keep it handy at all times. The exercise programme is simple but effective and I try and maintain the regime. Whether it really keeps you young or not well who knows. All I can say is that I am sixty years of age and people say I look so much younger and 'fit'!!!! I'm a believer.
