Great hoover powerful suction so perfect for cat hair. I found it a little heavy. Good price.

Pro's, easy to set up, nice long cable, relatively light, definitely picks up pet fur, does a good job overall. Cons, the suction nozzle can easily clog up with pet fur. To clean it properly means removing 8 to 12 screws from the base plate and removing the rollers and drive belt, clean the reassemble. It's do'able but fiddly. Poor design in my opinion, the clear perspex shroud should be detachable for cleaning. Quite noisy but hey, it's a carpet cleaner. Had I paid the £250 these cost when first rolled out I'd feel a bit short changed but for the £100 I paid it does the job and is worth it.

The carpet cleaner seems to be working very well. Easy to put together and use. Its not too heavy and my carpets cleaned quickly. I di have a very wonky floor so that made it a bit harder and I am unsure in some aces if anything was even happened. I dont blame the carpet cleaner but I thoguht I add this in case anyone else has a wonky floor.

Great carpet cleaner , tricky to clean the cleaner after, but manageable. Carpet smell fresh and looks much cleaner.

Great vax and works a treat

We’ve recently changed all our equipment to vax - vacuum, hard floor cleaner - our final purchase being to replace an older vax carpet washer. This has done the job, just, but after a number of issues. It leaks from the top of the clean reservoir when you fill to the max line and then tip the handle of the machine back to use it dribbling fluid down between the grey collar and the reservoir. It makes the carpets very wet, even following the instructions, and using the fluid button makes little difference as the cleaner fluid just continues to dribble out anyway. Worst still, when you stop it for a moment to move something out of the way, the machine then dribbles what looks like clean fluid onto the carpet causing wet patches in line with the back of the machine. Even worst still, when I went to empty the waste container - which fortunately I had done in a tiled bathroom floor, the clips sprang open and dumped the whole contents in the floor. Good things it’s able to pick up water, as the whole area was flooded as a consequence. Finally, when finished with that additional work, the machine continues to drip all over the place despite not having the reservoirs in it. Come on Vax this isn’t your usual standard. It does the job of cleaning, but by god it made a pig’s breakfast of what should have been an easy task. This doesn’t equate to the other kit we have which has been brilliantly designed. Thank goodness I didn’t decide to take out the waste container on the wood hall floor or we could have been talking thousands of pounds of damage. I know it doesn’t cost much in real terms, but what a poor effort. I can see why you discounted this to get rid of the machines over Black Friday!!!! Vax, you’re going to have to go some to restore my faith in your product this time. In summary, almost cleans the carpet, soaks everything between where you have been working and it’s final resting place, design is poor, water sealing even worse and a loyal customer has been hacked off by a product which clearly shouldn’t be on sale any more.

Good little cleaner, easy to put together, did a good job, didn't leave carpet sopping wet with a bit of patience going over it slowly with just suction after cleaning, good value if u don't have a lot of carpet to warranty a big expensive cleaner, my living room rug is a hi traffic area having to walk through to kitchen plus having pets, you don't realise how dirty they get in a short space of time, this brought it lovely and clean

This article arrived on time and in good condition but when I went to plug it in (after assembling it) it has UK power plug so now I have to buy an adapter - not good enough, why are these supplied to an Australian market?
