First of all, I don't understand why people buy a Korean product and then become disappointed that it's not Indian enough. That doesn't make sense. So don't buy this expecting your masala to do your taste buds good. This is a Korean noodle and the standards of spicy is on another level. Yes, It is reallllllllllllly spicy! Also, how spicy also depends on your individual tolerance to spicy. You could also make it less spicy by adding less of its sauce that comes with it. In my case, I was crying, sucking on my gulab jamun and drinking water nonstop. Nonetheless, i enjoyed the flavour. The noodle, by itself, is thicker than your maggie. Do try it, if your in the mood for experimentation but if your looking for a full course meal - perhaps you opt for something else.

First, thank you Amazon for delivering it 3 days earlier than the expected day. It was packed properly without any damage to the product. Don't take the Korean spice level as a joke. The spice, warmth level is high. I love spicy food, a moderate spice lover and this product made me cry. It has great flavour too, can be easily eaten. It was harder to get used to the taste of the noodles, it's different and thicker than regular noodles. The flakes packet has sesame seeds and small pieces of dried seaweed. Overall, do give it a try once. It's worth trying especially if you are a fan of K-drama or K-pop, they really make us crave these ramen. 😍

these noodles are amazing but they're very very spicy. the noodles are thick and nice. i used the whole packet of sauce and my lips and throat were starting to burn a lot. since i bought 2 packets, i'll use half the sauce in the next. other than that, the taste is nice. also i recommend having a few nuggets, or a sausage, or just chicken along with it for taste. and add mozzarella too, it'll taste nice

This product has no flavor whatsoever except very hot taste. You'd not get anything except the stingy hot sensation. Its like having a very bitter black coffee without any extra taste. Total failure as far as wholesomeness of a product is concerned. I've tasted various so called hot products. But the main aim is not to provide hot sauce like feel or only hot sensation. Everyone is treating this as some kind of 'ice bucket challenge' thing. Like a social media craze. Not anyoje with sane mind will re-order this unless their taste buds have already been destroyed. If the sauce is added for smaller amount, it gives better preparation. Still there is nothing for it to cost 125 . Better buy some bhoot jholakia sauce, prepare some cheap noodles and add the sauce as much as you like. You'd get exact same thing at one tenth of this price.

Ok taste, smells odd

If i go with taste it was not so good it smells like a chicken which I don't like at all the thickness after 2 bites you won't be able to eat you have to make it with lots of veggies and egg and you can tolerate the spice

The delivery was lightening fast. Ordered in the night, receives on the next morning. The noodles are vv spicy. At first you'll find it to be sweet, slowly the heat will increase and in no time your mouth will be on fire. Keep a glass of milk or lassi beside while eating. Apply the curd on lips and mouth area once finished eating. Though felt like eating more. 125 bucks is a lil too much. P.s. I've tried the pink and yellow one too. Loved the yellow one and hated the pink one. Though this 2x one is way spicier. Overall great snack.

The noodles are real spicy for good! The moment you take a bite you don't really feel the spice at all but just after one or two bites the heat kicks in really hard and you can barely go ahead of two three bites! And the worst part is it has a really chemical like pungent smell and flavor to it which somehow looks like it deliberately reacts with your tongue to give you the burning sensation, the flavors taste really unnatural and artificial, and it fills up the room with the bad aroma as well (don't know if it's the seaweed but the smell came out of the sauce not the flakes) I even tried not draining the excess water in my first attempt and added cheese and egg to tone down the heat but I didn't really help much! Had then tried the package instructions later, it tasted slightly better but nothing can be done about the aroma or heat! Definitely not something binge on your midnight cravings unlike our favourite Maggie, just a one time try for an adventure enthusiast and definitely wouldn't be buying this one again! Might try other flavors if they could change my mind!

I enjoy spicy food, regularly tucking into a BabaNaga Curry (naga chillies) at my local curry house (hotter than madras), so I went for the (2x Spicy) to try... These noodles are tasty and Hot... if you have a low spice tolerance I would advise you to try the normal 1xspicy variety first, or avoid altogether! The heat was pretty instant and left my mouth and lips tingling for a good 10mins after finishing the bowl. Thoroughly enjoyed them, I have to say I'm glad I went for the 2xSpicy before jumping into the deepend with the 3xSpicy... I'm not sure if I'll be able to handle them, but i'll try them at some point. Overall if you like spicy food, you'll love these not only very hot but also tasty!

I love spicy food. I love, love, love spicy food. I amaze and annoy my family members and everyone around me in equal measure with my preoccupation for such delightfully masochistic self-inflicted suffering. Not just in savoury foods, but also sweet. I frequently add four kinds of pepper to everything I make, and add neutral spices to my maple syrup just for an extra kick. i like it hot, yo. Something I've noticed is a lot of food that is focused on being hot waylays flavour. So there is heat, but there is nothing enticing or more complex to accompany it. It's disappointing and makes for a flat, incomplete experience. And it is absolutely not an issue here! At the end of day, this is a pack of instant noodles. We all know these aren't the best for you and will probably shave years off your life with every wonderfully manufactured bite, so have them in moderation, but there is excellent flavour here. I love the bounce and feel of the noodles, too, nice and fun to chew. My fave to date. It made for a nice complement. But these are sooooo goooood. As for spice, they are decently spicy! I saw these during the spicy noodle challenge and looking at all the reactions I knew it was something I wanted to do. Trying to convey spice, though, is difficult. Impossible. Everyone's levels of tolerance are different, so to the person saying that people who said those who didn't find them as spicy had to have been drinking bevs, I say not everyone will have the same experience as you. If you find sriracha very spicy, these will annihilate you, leaving an ashen smear where your body once stood moments before it exploded in a fiery blaze. So, y'know, just be aware of that and inform your loved ones of your possible express trip to the depths of hell if need be. For me, these were spicy enough that I would get them again, and yes the spice did linger with me, I breathed a lot, and I felt my sinuses clear, but at no point did I ever struggle to eat them. In fact, I could not get them in fast enough they were so goood. After I had one pack, I immediately had another and counted the hours until I deemed it acceptable to have a third. I would recommend the following for first-timers: Drain ALL the water instead of leaving some as per the instructions. This will concentrate the sauce and not dilute the heat. And be advised if you decide to add additional items like meat or vegetables, because that is more area your sauce needs to cover so that too so it may spread it a bit thin. Adding more stuff isn't a bad idea, It's delicious and i had it with bok choy and shrimp, but I think I will save that for other noodles because this is all about the spice for me. All in all, highly recommend!

I don't usually write reviews but I have to for these noodles. I first found out about these after I watched the YouTube channel TheWolfePit post a video about it. Obviously, they are quite spicy, especially when you use the whole packet of sauce like I do. I have a fairly good spice tolerance. I put hot sauce in my eggs for breakfast, my Bloody Marys, hot dogs, burgers, everything. But it still takes me a while to get through a bowl of these. That said, this isn't one of those gimmicky "spicy challenge" fad foods you see on YouTube or Instagram. Well, maybe it is, given how I discovered it. Still, the flavor of these noodles simply fantastic. There's definitely a solid umami flavor in there with a hint of teriyaki-like sweetness behind the heat. This is simply the best prepackaged ramen I've ever had. If you don't have a spice tolerance at all (I'm talking, you get tea at McDonald's because soda is too spicy-type lack of spice tolerance) just buy this anyway and only add a drop or two of the spicy sauce, it's that good. Both the regular 2x spicy chicken and the cheese flavors are good (those are the ones I've had so far), but I prefer the former as they're spicier and you can always add cheese if you want. Plus, the spiciness enhances the flavor I think. If you're like me and challenging yourself to build up your spice tolerance, this is probably not only the most cost effective way to do so, but the most delicious way. After reading this, scroll back up, buy a pack, and you'll know.
