My 5 year old who loves animals and creating things had these for a Christmas present and she has had hours of fun with them. She can use the instructions to make the animals all by herself and is very proud of her creations. The parts are durable and easy to fit together and pull apart. Only drawback is that there is only one set of eyes and some of the larger parts so you can only make one at a time, because of this we might have to invest in another set.

A variety of animals can be easily created by a 4 year old . Great fun

I have used K'nex and Kid K'nex for many years with children in my care. I purchased this set to enhance sets I already have. The pieces are of good quality in vibrant colours, that will have many years of use if previous sets are anything to go by.There are also images of models that can be recreated, or children (and adults) can use their imaginations to create their own models.As there is only one set of eyes included in this set, adaptions were made to create other models, or do as we did and use eyes from other K'nex sets that we have.K'nex is a useful resource in helping to develop many skills and abilities including eye hand coordination, fine motor skills and develop and strengthen the dexterity, tendons and muscles in the fingers, thumbs and hands as well as science, technology, engineering and mathematical skills as well as compromise, negotionion and sharing of the pieces.Kids (and adults including myself) have spent many happy hours re-creating and creating models and I will buy other sets.

My 6 year old found the original k'nex too difficult to click into place. These are great as easier to click in, the size makes this suitable for both him and safe for his younger brother to play with. They enjoy making all the animals on the idea sheet.

We have the large box and smaller box. We have gifted knex to friends children. Great little set. Great for children 3 years + to creat some great figures and objects, plus use their imagination to create their own. My lo 5 still enjoys knex.

Great for the little ones, hand and eye coordination and a sprinkle of creativity, a dash of vision, pinch of assembly, and a sparkle of imagination. Pieces seem easy, bright colors, A guide included to show how to build certain objects and on box. But grand kids like to make their own creations. I love kids off the screen interacting with friends or cousins, the giggles and laughing , love that sound ... play sets allows them to expand and build what they're thinking of. and you can also buy other sets to add to. And some days they spend hours. I say it brings them together the way it should be. Not sitting on a couch with a game system.

Jeu vraiment sympa très facile d'utilisation.Acheté pour ma fille de 5 ans mais peut convenir à partir de 3-4 ans si l'enfant ne met pas les pièces à la bouche.Beaucoup de modèles différents proposés sur la notice, pièces très résistantes, faciles à monter et à démonter.Seul regret, une seule paire d'yeux est fournie, on aurait aimé en avoir au moins deux ou trois pour pouvoir créer plusieurs personnages à la fois...
