can't believe they actually work
I'm very lucky i have good genes - i'm in my mid 30s without a wrinkle. Except from the grand canyon between my eyes that makes me look angry all the time that appeared a few years ago when i was going through a very stressful season of life, working in an office getting eye strain from the computer, getting an eye injury that took 2 years to heal so walking round like a pirate, and being a stomach sleeper. My 11 isn't so much a wrinkle - is more of a dent that starts at the top of my nose and goes half way up my forehead as though i've slept with my face resting on the edge of a bookshelf. If i run my finger over the space between my eyes it feels like i'm going over the bumps of the letter M with a large lump on the left from my facial muscle. I don't care about aging i just don't particularly like having resting rage face and the idea of botox freaks me out and it's expensive. My theory is if i can use something relatively inexpensive and non-invasive like this to help get myself out of bad habits now like sleeping on my stomach and frowning in concentration or , I won't need drastic measures later on. Application: It took me a couple of attempts to get it to stick as i assumed it was going to be like a nose strip when actually less is more. However the long edges peel up a bit. whether this is my face shape or lack of technique or what i don't know but i just stuck them down with a little medical tape so it wouldn't catch on my pillow and tear off in the night. They stink. Other commenters have said they don't smell and I think they must have blocked noses or something because once wet they smell like a peculiar mix of euthymol toothpaste, wet dog and cat piss. Once it dries it's fine but if you get the adhesive on your hands the smell lingers for a couple of hours. Wearing: I only used one triangle rather than the 2 recommended because i have a small face and that seemed excessive. the splint is effective. I couldn't frown. I put it on early evening to see if i could catch myself frowning as maybe it's a sign i need to wear glasses more often. My forehead felt weird. As though it didn't know what to do with itself if it couldn't frown. By the time i got to bed i didn't even notice it was still on Result: instructions say to wet it but i have super oily skin so it peeled off without water quite easily. If the light shines from a certain angle i can still see a little dent but i wasn't expecting complete miracles from one use but this is pretty close to a miracle. If i run my finger across my brow it's now flat. i didn't know that was actually possible i thought that was just my face but it seems some major muscle relaxing happened overnight. I think we're on a winner.

A good product that works to target specific lines. Smell not great
I would definitely say they work. I have one quite deep frown line between my eye brows thats really bothering me. It gets worse while im sleeping as im a side sleeper and my face scrunches. They definitely do smell quite a lot while the glue is wet. It doesn't bother me that much but can see how people find it offputting. My frown line is almost invisible when I take the patch off in the morning, but slowly returns throughout the day with me using forehead expressions during conversations or when im focusing. If you have very fine lines, a bit of K tape or similar works just as well. Id say this is better for deeper lines as it dries harder. Overall a good product and im only using one triangle per day, so should last a while for the price. I also appreciate that it comes in a small box since I travel a lot for work and take them with me.

Can cause contact irritation - not hypoallergenic
These do work. I have quite deep frown lines in-between my eyes and I frown a lot when I sleep. Using Frownies definitely restricted the ability to frown and so stopped the muscles from working during sleep. I woke up with far less indentation on my forehead. Unfortunately I can not use them any longer. I found I was suddenly, after a month or so of use, I stated to get a dry, lumpy red rash from the adhesive used on the patches, so no more use for me. Even after a few weeks break, once the rash had cleared up, returning to using the patches lead to more irritation. It is such a shame as Frownies are such an easy and effective way to help prevent frown lines. I reused patches 2 to 3 times which seemed to work well.

Allergic to botox
Im allergic to Botox so ive used these on and off, ove committed to using them every night and they really work, by the evening you can see lines again but nothing as deep as before . They do the same thing as botox except you use them every night , after 1 week I had comments saying the lines were disappearing. Committed to them now

Avoid. Semi-sticky bits of paper
Absolute waste of money. They're barely sticky, and they amount to nothing more than a thich piece of paper. Serve no purpose whatsoever.

It smells horrible but works wonders
I’ve tried a lot of options, but this one works best for me so far. After using it, I look like I’ve just had Botox??? My forehead feels firmer, softer and it actually makes a difference. The glue is gentle on the skin, stays in place overnight, and doesn’t cause any damage when you remove it in the morning. That said, keep in mind I’m 29, don’t have deep wrinkles or mimic lines, and have been getting Botox since I was 26. This product works more on muscle tension or that fatigue look you have. However, the smell is awful. I went to bed wearing these, and my husband asked if I forgot to take a bath. I found out it’s because they’re made from natural starches to help them stick to your skin. I asked it on tiktok and found out you can apply them with rose water or add a bit of essential oil once they’re dry to help. once it is dry the smell is not too horrible but it is still BAD. If you have a big forehead you will use a lot of patches so it might not be economical. I have a small forehead and I use 3 patches, one diamond and 2 triangles. I can tell you this works, but it is expensive.

Not an alternative to Botox
Pros - helps prevent frowning and squinting at night or during computer use, which in turn will maybe help prevent wrinkles and fine lines getting worse over time. Cons - when you take it off you are smoother in the frown line area, but within an hour the frown line is back. Also, when you use these regulary you will find that the constant application and removal of the strip will cause exfoliation of the skin in that area. Whilst exfoliation is not a bad thing, too much does make skin shiny and the skiny skin draws more attention to the frown area. I tried these for while and then gave up and had a small amount of botox instead, and wow, it got rid of the lines in 4 days and softened my forehead (baby's bum smooth). I will not be looking back. These strips will help stop you frowing during use, but will not relax the muscles down and soften the forehead area unfortunately. Save your money on this, and get some botox, because botox actually has countless clinical studies spanning decades to show its effectiveness. (Just make sure you go to a good doctor and don't over do it).

Strange idea that REALLY works!
I'm 51 and had noticeable, permanent lines between my eyebrows. These frownies feel l a bit strange (who sticks a piece of paper to their forehead at night?) and you can't imagine how they could possibly work- but they do! I use them along with an anti-wrinle cream but they have done far more than anything else! Everyone is saying I look younger and more relaxed, but no-one has been able to identify that it's my '11' lines between my eyebrows that have all but disappeared. Although these are just sticky firm paper, they 'reset' the position of skin and stop you wrinkling your forehead when wearing them. The skin simply goes back to where it belongs. I've been using them for about 3 weeks now and if I miss a night now it doesn't seem to matter so soon I will probably just use them on alternate nights. So simple to use though that I have only forgotten once- and I have ADHD!

The Perfect Addition to Those Who Have Skin Routine
First off - watch some reviews on this product ( youtube). They all pretty much say the same things and after using the product I agree with their statements. Overall I highly recommend this product to a certain demographic. If you are in your 20's and 30's and you care about your skin and have a skin routine in place, these are the perfect addition. You will need a min of 4 patches to do your forehead effectively. You will start to see results instantly BUT they are not long lasting ...this needs to be something you do regularly. - I would NOT recommend for individuals with mature skin or deep wrinkles (I'm 34 yrs and have visible wrinkles on my forehead and 11's but thats about it so far) - This product is really best suited for individuals with no wrinkles who are looking to prevent/delay them or people who have slight wrinkles looking to reduce them -This is not Botox, its not a miracle cure that will have long-lasting results --> I saw results immediately after one night however, if you don't use them continuously, the results will fade within a couple of days. - I recommend for the first week doing them every night, and then you can move to do them every other night or whatever works for you. - These are not easy or comfortable to wear --> they take time to put on and you have to be careful with placement (takes about 10 minutes to put on and then you really do have to wear them for the full night) Overall I highly recommend this product to certain demographic. If you are in your 20's and 30's and you care about your skin and have skin routine in place, these are the perfect addition. -

great but it smells kinda funky
These patches really are solid. don't peel off and really do not move once stuck on. ive noticed a slight difference in a short time of using them so if you are looking at using them for wrinkles then I would say definitely give these a go! however, I used these initially to see if they would reduce my tension in my forehead as I have chronic migraines and they def help with that too! only thing I dont like is the smell they have once they are wet. it can be a little overwhelming at first but you get use to it.

If you can’t use Botox…
Is it as good as Botox? No! But for my 11’s it works. I recently developed terrible “dry eyes” and stopped using Botox on my 11’s bc it reduces the blinking which worsened my dry eyes. (I’d wake up with Red eyes, not clear ones). This has saved me from waking up to heavy duty 11”s imprinted on my forehead. At night after I apply all my skin care, I blot my 11’s to remove any access skin care, and slightly wet a Frownie triangle and then glue it on firmly. It stays on all night (if I don’t add too much or too little water). And in the morning I have no 11s.! When I don’t do it I have the 11’s indentations. Yes it does have a glue type of smell, but I don’t care because it takes care of my wrinkles. I’ve read that some people use it during the day to retrain the forehead muscles not to frown so they don’t get those wrinkles. I may try that next. I have noticed that when I put it on earlier in the night and I watch TV I don’t move my forehead as much when they’re on because it constricts that area. Do I think they’re worth the money? Well yes if I don’t have to pay for my Botox anymore. But obviously , it’s not as easy as going to get the shots every three months. And it is a commitment so you just have to make it easy for yourself and have them right there next to your skin care. All in all, I definitely think they’re worth it. And if you’re using Botox and want to save money, I would use the Frownies in between sessions. I remember Rene Russo once said she owed her youthful looks to Frownies.
