It will be no problem to pack in and out of the toughest areas.Programming is a breeze using the smart phone app. The app is pretty straightforward, but also has some deep-dive settings that are more complex. Wish there was a reference manual, but I think most will figure it out through exploring.The Michron will fit your hot shoe, but DOES NOT REQUIRE it for power or interface. You can put a flash on, if needed, and still use the Michron.I highly recommend the Michron.One note: All Canon interface cables are not the same; be completely sure your model is listed in the title of the listing. I accidentally got the wrong one.
