Jensen JWM40 DVD/USB/AUX/BT Stereo

Best improvement I’ve made to my travel trailer as far as entertainment goes. The original unit never had good radio reception and the DVD player was beginning to not play all of the DVDs so out it came. The wiring was very simple to switch out and it works just like the old system but the sound is much better and as with any good quality unit you can adjust the bass and treble which was not an option on the old unit.

This sounds great in the RV. Have used most of the functions and settings and everything works just fine. One thing I think could be addressed is the fact that the speakers are called "zones" (A or B) on the controls, but the wiring labels say front and rear. It is no big deal, you just have to figure out which wires are "on" when you select the zone when connecting them to the speakers. In my case the "front" are used for the inside speakers and are zone A. Otherwise a good, easy install and sounds fantastic.

Mounting screws required special tool to engage - original screws were recessed so matching the removal tool was very difficult.

We bought this in June of 2019 for our camper, it worked great for all of 2019, 2020 no camping due to covid, and now getting the camper ready for 2021 and DVDs will not work just try to load I would not recommend this product as it doesn't work very long.

I used this less then a month snd already have had two issues with it. Buyer beeare!

We installed this in our travel trailer to replace the garbage radio that came with it, that not only died after a year but was draining our battery. This one was larger than the original but it was super easy to adjust the opening. It looks really nice and plays DVD's so well. I have no clue why the radios don't have Bluray players nowadays, but the classic DVD player works just fine. Given the cost of other radios out there, this one is a good value. We researched a ton before we bought it and we are glad we did.

The volume nob stopped working. Would only go up or down with remote.

The description didn't mention this doessn't work with Jensen App control so I returned it and got the JWM60A which is on its way now. It has the same quality as the other Jensen radios which are made for RV's.
