Bought these to use as front porch lights to be left on overnight, without having to think about when to turn on and off the light switch.These work exactly as advertised and put out plenty of light in a pleasant color cast (2700K). They are a great value for the money and I wish I had known about these sooner - I'd certainly have saved some money on my electric bill! Highly recommended.

Professional electrician writing this after 1 week of use. Went through 2 astrological timers in 2 years @ $50 each. These dont come on at the excact same time, as they would with a timer, but are cheaper and easier to replace than an electronic timer. Comes on and goes off when they should, good amount of delay, not false triggered by adjacent lights or headlights so far. Hope they hold up like others say they do.

My post light died so I put a solar one in but it is not very bright and didn't last long. I put one of these lights in my front porch light and left it on. It has a glass cover on it but the bulb works great. It goes on at dusk and off in the early morning to provide light all night and I don't have to worry about turning it on and off.

These bulbs are amazing. I bought them for my front porch so I had a way to turn on/off my porch light without having to have a timer. I was having surgery and unable to go up/down the steps for a couple of weeks but wanted my routine of having the porch light on/off would continue. It works perfectly. It is bright and lasts a long time. I also placed them on the front and back porches at my rental house and the tenants love them as well. I gave the 4th bulb to my neighbor and they rate it as highly as I do.

No need to replace a light fixture you already have and like. The bulb looks like any other bulb but it comes on at dusk and off at dawn. My neighbor just bought a whole new light fixture to get the on at dusk and off at dawn feature. I bought the daylight option in color, and it is wonderful. Lights up my entire porch. Our neighborhood does not have streetlights, so it is dark. I can now see my steps down and my front lawn. I'm also putting one in my back light on the patio. That area is even darker at night. No more will I have to remember to turn my outside lights on and off. It's automatic! These were a good buy. I don't know about longevity as yet.

Arrived well packaged and delivers a soft and bright yellow lighting circumference. Overall good value for a bug light with built-in dusk/dawn feature.
