Needed to take off little piece for battery to go in but that only took 2 minutes

The fatmax battery's are tight the lug on the underside left , if you make a groove in the raised section of the charger where it fouls works well

Good piece of kit. Bought when my Stanley fatmax charger broke and couldn’t find the replacement new for under £100. Like others have said it takes a bit of force to squeeze the batteries in but it has brought back to life two batteries, one which the old charger said was broken (flashing red) and one which it wouldn’t charge at all. Very happy.

I got a Stanley drill and impact driver, the old charger when charge the batteries always showing red light I fought is the batteries need replacing but I tried to check on cheap way if is the batteries or the charger. I bought this charger and I realized is the charger not the batteries, very happy with the charger.

Trying to fit a Stanley battery into the charger was a bit of a faff as it slides in further up than you expect

I bought this as the charger that came with my stanley brushless drill set stopped working - it reported my batteries as broken or fully charged when they were very likely neither (I've had it less than a year).This charger was able to charge the batteries fully again, and prevent my set becoming a waste of money.I will warn though that I've barely used this, it may be that it has long term reliability issues.
