Excellent product, seems better than oem.

part number does not match the item delivered. i was sent a regulator for the passenger side, with last four digits being 7604. works fine, as i replaced anyway. it would have been nice to replace the part i need though.

I have tried several regulators. some are 1/3 of the price. works badly. this version works perfectly. material is high quality. would recommend to others.

My drivers side regulator broke in my 986, The dealership OEM part was over 300.00 and still used old style slide rollers.I opted to try this one as it looked like a better design. It bolted in perfectly (took me about 1 hour from start to finish). As stated in previous reviews, the rubber that grabs the window was stuck together so I freed the two sides before installation. Things to note: Don't remove the window "grabber" screws just loosen. Use some painters tape to mark the position of the window in the grippers, as well as the lower regulator positions where they bolt to the inner door frame. (this will make it easy to get everything lined up). I did not need to adjust the window height screw, as it was already in the correct position. If you haven't replaced one before, there are youtube videos that do step by step instruction.

This product came in quick, replaced a failed regulator perfectly and is engineered with ball-bearing rollers, opposed to OEM sleeve bearing rollers. (the rollers are what failed on my OEM) Window moves quicker with no strain on motor.It takes about 15 minutes to remove door card and electrical connections, then replacing the regulator only takes minutes from there.REMEMBER: disconnect battery before removing airbag and replace airbag BEFORE restoring battery connection or you will end up with airbag sensor light requiring the dealer to reset. Only issue I had was the window clamps have a rubber sleeve and this sleeve was slightly fused together, requiring me to separate the rubber in advance of installation, otherwise you are struggling to fit window into the clamps while in the door. Don't completely remove the screws from this clamp, only loosen them.Review the entire replacement on youtube and better yet, 986 forum. Happy Boxstering.

Love it, easy to change with a YouTube video, took 1 hr. No need to pay a shop $600 to $1000 I was quoted. Seriously?Do it yourself, get help from a friend. Works better than new.
