A solid replacement for your old door catches.
Great product. I measured the old closet door catch and ordered this model. It fit perfectly, is easily adjustable and works like a charm.

Such a wonderful product!!! I was looking for a replacement for the ball catch lock for our doors and came across the magnetic version. Easy to install, adjustable, & works great!!!

Much better than ball catch version, but adjustment mechanism could be better
Our new home came with spring-loaded catch-ball latches on all of our closet doors. They certainly work, but tend to tighten up and are noisy. I got this magnetic product to solve the problem. They fit in the existing hole on the top edge of the closet doors, and mounted quickly and easily. It takes a little finagling to get them adjusted to the right gap between the closet door piece and the top plate. That leads to my only criticism of the product. To adjust the gap, you need to uninstall the door component, turn the barrel up or down to adjust the gap, and re-install the door component. It would be a major improvement if the magnetic component had a slot in the top of it to allow adjustment with a screwdriver without de-installing. In the absence of this, it is a little bit of trial and error to get the gap right.
