Constructed well, name brand components, ultra secure connectors. Trustworthy company..
Well constructed, custom lengths and components if ordered directly from BJC's site. Name brand, high quality components. I especially like the connectors. If you want to try bi-wiring, I can't think of a better company than Blue Jeans Cable. I looked at a lot of bi-wire cables from a number of companies before buying these. Some are 'prettier' and also use the Canare 4S11 wire I was looking for but in the end, it was the published specs and ultrasonically welded (not soldered) connections and expandable/locking banana plugs that sold me. If the cables will be visible after installation and you want a different look, adding nylon braided sleeving is easy and will add some protection. I'd recommend split-braiding for ease of installation. Many colors available. Note that when cutting, an electric hot knife works well. Without, you'll get fraying and unraveling. This and other BJC products are likely to result in long term reliability and best possible performance. I'd also *highly* recommend their video cables especially for the sometimes problematic world of custom PC's used for video editing, gaming and 4k video playback. The connector collars can be unscrewed and lowered which completely exposes the welded connections. You can see for yourself how the wire is welded to the connector. This will also make cleaning quick and easy. For more configuration options, check out BJC's website. If you have a specific need (custom lengths, connector options, etc.), chances are they'll be able to provide. This is a company that seems to have engineers on staff or is otherwise heavily influenced by engineers, not marketers. This is a good thing for the customer. Their customer service is second to none in my experience. I've emailed several times and always received solid information and guidance, not hype. Some of their cables even come with certs. Their website is worth browsing if only to take advantage of the information they provide. It's an educational resource I'd recommend to everyone but especially for those that are new to the world of audio/ video hardware and ready to spend. Side note: focus on measured specs when reading reviews of all audio products, not just interconnects. When reviews contain a lot of superlatives, this is a red flag. Further, when reading subjective reviews of audio recordings and the hardware used to listen to audio, read very skeptically. If the writer is a middle aged man, it may be that he can't hear much beyond about 10kHz. Men tend to lose their ability to hear high frequencies from a fairly young age. The ~20Hz to ~20kHz range most of us are born with doesn't last long. The 'sparkling highs' a reviewer mentions may mean up to ~8kHz given that this is the limit of what he can hear. Tinnitus can get in the way too, a very common and maddening affliction. Examples of listening experience superlatives for audio products are below. These were pulled from a quick google search. All red flags. Use caution when exploring the audiophile world. It's definitely a rabbit hole that has claimed more than it's share of victims. super fast bass organic palpability textured but smooth treble detailed bass airy midrange harmonic textures refined soundstage and insight incredibly lush liquidity sense of immediacy fluidity and dynamic flair coherent and well-structured quietness around instruments sophisticated temperament

Well made.
Iโm what you might call a retired audiophile. At this point I long ago gave up the chase for audio nirvana, got too expensive, high end audio more audio art than substance and my ears just arenโt what they used to be so whatโs the point! If you want to believe in the science or alchemy of high end audio cable as I might have done at one time, power to you. Iโm not sure if audiophile cables get you much better sound or just different equalized sound. What I do know is that these Blue Jeans cables are heavy duty and very well terminated, I love the locking banana plugs. Sound good to my ok ears and a very fair price for the money. Iโm happy. Regards. Ned.

Great value upgrade vs more hyped aspirational brands
The cable sound quality is great (more bass more air / space vs a popular brand) and a terrific value. Performance without hype marketing. Japanese engineering quality! The connectors need to fit your set up so use caution in those specs (bananas were snug in my system). Aside from connectors the sound was 90% of product costing 2x+ more!!!

heavy-duty, well made, fairly priced
I bought these to replace a set of inexpensive 16AWG cables. Based on one or two gauge tables I'd seen, they seemed to be marginal for a 150W amp with 4 ohm speakers and 15' runs. The screw-down banana plug terminations were not too secure. I had seen BJC recommended often on HiFi sites for their build quality and pricing. I wasn't necessarily committed to bi-wire per se. I doubt it makes a very significant, audible difference compared to using jumpers with standard (2 conductor) cables of similar thickness. But the welded-in terminations are very nice. So are the locking banana plugs. And compared to some of the competition, the BJC prices (while not inexpensive) do seem to be fair. IMO, these qualities (not audio nirvana) are what you're getting compared to the cheap alternatives from Best Buy. These are pretty thick. They look as if they could power a table saw. However, with the muted grey jacketing, they don't look too obtrusive on my oak floors. To me, that is (if not to my spouse!)

Awesome speaker cables !
Absolutely love these speaker cables. These are the only cables I use on both my home audio systems. Great build quality and nothing but uncolored crystal clear sound. Highly recommend theses speaker cables !

Disappointed but made right
Iโve bought cables in the past from Blue Jeans Cable and you get a decent cable for the money, no doubt. But Iโve ordered two 20 foot bi wired Canare cables from Amazon and I had to return one because one of the speaker RCAs has lost its soldered joint. I ordered a new cable to replace my return but Iโm not sure how itโs going to hold up. The second cable from my first order has now lost a solder joint on one of the speaker leads. So either I send them back or Iโm going to have to use my own banana plugs that I ordered from Amazon more than 3 years ago. This is disappointing on a $100 cable, those RCAs should be on there good and tight, to replace them so soon is to me, money not well spent. UPDATE, I contacted BJC myself and once I relayed my experience, I was told they personally would send me two replacement cables. Maybe the soldering issues were an anomaly, who knows? As soon as I get the new cables Iโll let everyone know but for this alone, BJC deserves a perfect score. I received the replacement cables from BJC and the ultrasonic welding on these cables seem to be much better. They were shipped to me from their main office in Washington, the guys at BJC (especially Jeff) stand behind their product. I believe the pricing is about the same, Iโd order directly from BJC if it werenโt that I had some Amazon reward points.

Excellent Value
Well made cable, strong high-quality termination and plugs. Locking bananas work quite well and provide solid connection. While not the last word sonically, it is far better than anything else I've heard in its price range - and even for several times the cost. Very satisfied and will be looking at other Blue Jeans Cable products in the future.

Nice! For sure!!
I have to say I was a little skeptical of buying speaker cables for this price however I got to say it's such a beautiful looking cable really well-constructed the banana plugs everything really strong such a nice great cable nothing cheap about it! however I didn't really listen to it very long maybe about 40 minutes compared to the other cables I had before and those cables were the silverback speaker cables that you can buy on here as well start a lot cheaper do I notice a difference in sound quality no not really over the silverbacks however with the silverbacks I've had it happen to me five times where the tip of the banana plugs would snap off and it would just be ridiculous it's a very cheaply made banana plug on those cables and if I had to compare which one looks better which one is heavier and which one is more well-constructed with better banana plugs I would say the blue jeans cables here are definitely better. But in sound quality the same! but I wouldn't buy these tables over the silver back thinking they will sound a lot better! But great product! I also like that they're welded cables to the plugs here!!

Disappointed
I have used Blue Jean cables for years and have already been impressed with the quality of the cable until today. To my surprise when I tried hooking up my speakers I noticed that the banana plug would not lock. When I tried to hook up the second set (bi wire), the cable literally fell off. It doesn't appear that these cables were welded to the connector. As a result I will be sending these back to Amazon as I do not trust this brand any longer :(

Bi-wiring worth an upgrade
I bought these cables to try bi-wiring my speakers. I replaced entry level Cardas Crosslink speaker cables that were not bi-wired. There is a definite benefit to the bass that is deeper and better controlled. The highs and mid range benefit from a clearer signal not affected by the bass speaker. I am not sure how it compares to other bi-wired speaker cables so I think a lot of the benefit I am hearing is from the physical bi-wiring of the speakers. I am not sure how much of the actual cable and the ultrasonic welding help with the sound improvement. The cable and welding certainly do not seem to cause any negative colouring. There are bi-wired cable for less and certain many more that are more expensive. If you feel the price of these cables are reasonable then I would recommend them. If they are too expensive then definitely try any bi-wire cables you think are reasonably priced.
