🌼 Cultivate Beauty, Conquer the Elements!
Sedum Hispanicum, also known as Spanish Stonecrop, is a resilient perennial ground cover plant that thrives in USDA zones 5-10. With its low-growing stature of 2-4 inches, it features succulent blue-green foliage and charming white-pink blooms in late spring and early summer. This low-maintenance plant is perfect for sunny locations and can withstand light foot traffic, making it an excellent choice for rock gardens and landscapes. Each packet contains 1000 seeds, covering approximately 20 square feet, ensuring a vibrant and drought-tolerant garden.

I think I cracked the code!
I bought both these, and the Sedum Acres from Outside Pride, and have been working on them for about a month. Now that both my starter trays have germinated, I'll share a few tips.1) If you are experienced with succulents, you will probably feel uncomfortable with how moist the soil needs to be for them to germinate. My germination tray is a disposable baking dish, and I have little divots in the soil in each corner, as well as one in the middle, into which I pour water every other day to keep the soil moist. I also spritz the surface of the soil with a spray bottle. I started them in regular potting soil, and as long as they are damp they seem to be sprouting fine.2) These seeds are tiny. TINY. They also produce tiny little plants. Mine germinated about 2 weeks ago, after 2 weeks of waiting/watering, and 2 weeks of growing means the tallest one is about 1/2 inch. They also don't look quite like the adult version of plants, so really the only way I can tell these are the sedums (vs contamination) is because they are so tiny and there are so many of them.3) Succulents in general are not pushy plants. If you leave your container outside, uncovered, it will likely pick up weed seeds, etc, and those will germinate and grow much faster than the sedums. Succulents just aren't fast growing, and especially not from seed. Plant these seeds because you want to enjoy the plant next year, not next month. In summary- patience, plenty of watering, and keeping it quarantined from other potential seeds is the key.

0/2000 - really difficult to grow
As the other 1 star reviews reported, these are very difficult to grow. I monitored the seeds/planting very carefully for 4 weeks and 0/2000 germinated. The seller reports that these have a 70% germination rate, but unfortunately like others reported, none of my sprouted.

Germination in 7 days!
I do not have a green thumb, but that doesn't stop me from trying. The seed packet says these germinate in 2-3 weeks, but here it is the morning of day 7 and I have tiny seedlings! Of the four different seeds I ordered from Outside Pride this time (Irish Moss, Creeping Thyme, Eidelweiss, Sedum), only the Irish Moss has yet to germinate. I'm not using grow lights. I am putting them out in the morning sun around 8am. If it's a hot, sunny day, I move them into the shade before noon. If it's overcast, I leave them. I bring them in around 5-6 pm when it starts getting cool. So far so good!I didn't count either the seeds in the packet or how many I planted, so I can't comment on the germination rate. I'm just trying a six-pack at a time due to my lack of green thumb. My order arrived promptly (2-3 days). I love Outside Pride and usually order directly from their website. You can sometimes find coupon codes on their Facebook page. This time I ordered soil and other seeds from other vendors, so it was convenient to add these to my cart. Highly recommended.Photos are from this morning, day 7.

Not seeds
Don’t waste your money. It was a packet of dust.

Hope they grow
Hair-like seeds so impossible to know whether there were 2000. We'll see if they grow.

Tiny tiny seeds
These are the tiniest seeds I've ever seen, and I only ended up planting a fraction of them. Really disappointed and would never try this again. Used a spray bottle twice a day to keep them moist but even then they're not thriving that well.

Same low germination rate with these as other seeds from ...
Same low germination rate with these as other seeds from same supplier. Maybe 10% rate in a flat with a humidity topper. I did not chill the seeds, I may retry again after chilling remaining seeds.

Small seeds with high germination rate
5/7/2022: I bought these August 2021. Now on my second round and germination rate is still nearly 100%. The key is to keep the succulents moist until they've established. They're quick to germinate with ideal conditions.
