I've been testing each day with my water meter, to make sure my potted plants are getting enough water. It really works! I don't have water running out of the pot, being wasted on the pavement. I live in San Diego, and we can afford to lose any drop! I use .05 gal emitter on the end of the micro tube.

This is certainly a very handy way of making certain that water gets down to the roots of a plant.  We're using them to pierce thought weed cloth and get to the roots of our rhodadendrine bushes.
