I bought the replacement key from McGard, but it would not work even though the codes matched and the pattern looked good. I think the tire shop may have used an impact wrench on the locking lugs and bent them a bit. I tried this tool and was able to get all four locks off. Make sure to tap the socket down fully on the locking lug with a sledge hammer, then use a breaker bar to remove the lug. You can use the supplied pin with a vice and a sledgehammer to remove. I wish I would have bought this kit first. I think it was even cheaper than the key replacement that didn’t work anyway.

This product is as advertised! I used this kit on my 2011 Dodge Charger as those stupid OEM Chrome Plated Lug Nuts are no good and tend to break often. One of my lug nuts was broken and this kit was able to remove that stubborn lug, I also bought the autozone emergency lug nut remover in which did not work, I was skeptical about spending more money as the autozone kit did not work. This surprisingly did the trick the first time I even tried!! Less than 2 minutes. Make sure you hit the socket you are using until it bottoms out which maximizes its grip on the lug and loosen! Worked perfect for me, definitely worth the money! Thank you!
