My purpose for this product is to be able to see small hairs around my eyes. I need to take tweezers to remove them as I always feel like I have hair in my eyes. I have my mothers' long eyelashes and my fathers' brush eyebrows. Lucky me. There are always small white hairs growing all around my eyes and it is maddening.This mirror has a sturdy base, sufficient lighting, a good size, AC adapter so I do not rely on batteries, and I have no need for travel. I gave it 3 stars for travel because of its size.A few reviews stated how bright the light is. It is bright but it is not amazing as the reviews seem to imply. One review stated it is not that bright. I get the feeling that this person did not know you can adjust the brightness.Good product at a reasonable price.I registered via email and the seller is sending me a mini mirror as a gift for making the purchase!

I bought this mirror to replace another one I had previously that broke (different brand, cost 2x as much as this one). I like this new one more. It's oval rather than circular, so I see my face in it perfectly on both sides without taking up too much space on my makeup vanity. I can flip between sides easily, but I most often find myself staying on the magnifying side, as it allows me to be magnified enough to do my eyes up close, but I can still see my entire face at the same time. The light is dimmable, but bright enough to do makeup without the overhead light if you need that for someone else still sleeping in the morning (roommates, husband). It can be battery-operated, which is very nice, but I just leave mine plugged in. It's very elegant and a great addition to my vanity. The manufacturer also offers a 90 day extended warranty if you register/email them, and the package insert says you get a "one-time oops" on the mirror shattering & they'll fix/replace it (at manufacturer's discretion), which is certainly reassuring! Overall it's a great mirror that has a modest but not too big footprint on my vanity, and it extremely glam and high-end. Would definitely repurchase and highly recommend!

love this Mirror!I was looking for a magnifying mirror that can be used for my makeup but also something that can add some decorating to my bathroom.The sizes and the shape of this mirror is perfect! all the other mirrors were just to big for my bathroom and i finally found the one that meets my exceptions! also the shape is unique and fancy and the silver colour looks great and high quality.The lighting is bright enough and perfect for doing my makeup and plucking eyebrows.the 5x magnification is good and i don't think you need more than that as you can see everything perfectly.I bought another one for my mom as she loved it!Very setisfy with the two purchases!

Now that I'm 48 and starting to show my age, I decided that I should start wearing a little more make up. The problem is, of course, that I can't see well enough to apply makeup with any precision! Ugh. So, I started looking for a magnifying, lighted mirror. I wanted one that was big enough to actually see my whole face which this one is. And it had to have at least 5X magnification. I only ever use the magnifying side of the mirror since that's what I bought it for in the first place and it works well. You have to be up close to it though, otherwise it makes your face look all wonky like you're in a fun-house. I think the light could be brighter to really be useful. I use it on the bathroom vanity and tilt it upwards and it reflects the overhead light which makes it bright enough to actually see. By itself, it's really not bright enough. So, if you plan to use it in an area with other lighting, this mirror would work well. If you're going to sit in a darkened room with it, then this won't be enough light. You'll walk out of the house looking like a clown with too much make up on (hopefully not...). It does come with a power cord as well as the option to use batteries. I've only used it plugged in so I don't know if the brightness would be any different while running on batteries. Overall, it does the job well enough for me!

I finally found the exact mirror I was looking for! This mirror is exactly what I wanted! The light is bright, the magnification is perfect, and I love the on off switch that isn’t on the mirror itself! It has different brightness levels. I also love the fact that it has a regular plug! The height is perfect. It’s a heavy well-made mirror, and I am totally in love. I don’t think that this mirror is good for travel. I have a smaller mirror that is a 10 times magnification that I traveled with. This mirror lives on my vanity where I put my make up on every day. Highly recommend.

I bought this after doing tons of research on magnifying mirrors not requiring an AC cord. Although this comes with one, I am using it with the 4 AA batteries.This Mirrormore mirror is perfect! I really like the push button on/off, and the turning the knob to make the light brighter or dimmer works beautifully. If you've never used a 10X mirror, be prepared to get close or your image will be distorted (as it would be with any magnification mirror). I find no distortion, the two-sided mirror is great and the chrome stand sturdy.This replaced my ancient plug-in countertop magnifying mirror which had to be plugged in. Because of my bathroom configuration, I could not leave it plugged; but instead had to drape the cord across my countertop (and sink) to use with the light, then unplug and coil up the cord after use. It has gone bye-bye!Don't hesitate to buy this one!
