My girlfriend from China asked me to purchase this Sea Cucumber to help me improve my energy. I had no idea about this product before, but I was willing to try it. When I first opened the package it looked very bizarre. Each piece was dry and very dark in color. She soaked it in water and it slowly re hydrated into a large and soft product resembling a cucumber. It was amazing how it re hydrated. She then cooked it in a chicken broth, and virtually it had no flavor however it had a good texture. If this is as healthy as my girlfriend tells me, I would be happy to include it in my diet.

This is the third time I order from this merchant. The price is up, but the size is down. In a typical bag (90 items), there are 20 which is significantly small. You soak it in the water and the size barely changes. My first batch of purchase is fine. I don't know why the merchant jack up the price while padding the package with many under-sized items. It looks like a shameless rip-off. Hugely disappointed!

Want to give 3.5 star, the quality is ok, but the size is small and not all that dark, some with dark brown, may not consider rebuy.

Small and perishable

I bought a bag of Wild Black pin Atlantic Dried Sea cucumber a few weeks ago. This is for a gift to my parent-in-law.My parent-in-law grew up in north-east of China. There has been a tradition of eating Sea Cucumber for invigorating body during winter. My parent-in-law used to eating local (Dalian) sea cucumber before moving to the US. This is the first time that they tried with Atlantic Dried Sea cucumber. They told me that this type of sea cucumber soaks well and expands to more than a few times of initial size, easy to chew and taste better.I am very happy that they like the gift.
