Would these gloves be too large for children ages 7-10?

They might be. I have medium-small adult hands, and they fit me well. It was a snug but comfortable fit. It's hard to say because it depends on the size of each child's hands, but they do fit an adult hand well. I think I lean towards no to a child's hand, however.
