Any idea why my cat keeps trying to eat this?

probably as it ismade os maize. It is a little odd though as cats are carnivores. Maybe have a word with a vet or a  feline dietition to make sure puss is getting the best diet for him/her. I had a cat loved sweetcorn and thought asparagus was the best prize in the world. He was just a weird cat lol.  Good luck. xx

What is the difference between the red and green bags? my 2 kittens are currently on green. is red better with 2? if so, why? do they look the same?

The red bag is meant to be extra strength and used for multi cat homes.  However I have 11 cats and although we do have a lot of litter trays I have never used anything other than the green bag.  The difference between this litter and the previous clumping cat litter we had is like chalk and cheese.  I will NEVER go back to another litter.  It is possible to flush it down the toilet, although we don't.  I am also amazed at how little we go through considering the number of cats we have.  It is excellent for clumping and removal is easy.

Question 3

Has anyone else had a bad batch? I’ve been buying monthly since October and last month’s doesn’t seem to clump properly and now I can’t scoop it all

It’s great litter apart from it tracking all over the house, even though I have a special mat in front of the litter box. 
As far as clumping goes, do wait a while before removing pees. The urine takes a while to stabilise the litter into a good clump.

Question 4

Is it safe to flush away the clump of what was the cats wee?

Accepted Answer

The packaging says the litter can be flushed and is safe for septic  tanks.  However you should not flush more than one or two clumps at a time.  Also If you leave a few minutes for the clump to break up it will flush better.  Have to say I don’t flush clumps myself, urine is supposed to help compost heaps to rot down so it goes in the compost bins.
