I checked the sizing chart and it suggested I go with XL. I wear L in almost all of my shirts, but I followed the chart. Even on the tightest fitting, it didn't feel very compressing or snug, so I bought an L for comparison. With the L, it was difficult to fasten the hooks and zip the zipper, and it definitely compressed my stomach. The material is comfortable and well-made. I was comfortable most of the day, but I started to feel too warm by the end of my workday. I don't think I could wear it outside in the summer because it's too thick and I would overheat.

A little uncomfortable but it does the job. People can't really tell if you are wearing it but when you take it out it feels a big relief. It works. Just a little hard to put it on but still easier that the 1 piece ones.
