Should i power this with 5v or 3.3v? also, do i need a ttl logic converter to convert from 5v to 3.3v logic?

3.3v is recommended. 2.3 to 5.2 range is specified, but the logic levels for comm data is only 3.3v, so if you are running from a 5v supply, I'd level shift it to 3.3 volts. The spec sheet says >=5v power for maximum transmission power, but not sure I trust that when logic signal strictly States over 3.3v could damage the unit. Mine was run from an ESP32 at 3.3v. No issues.
