Good Electric Kettle
I have been using this Pot for a couple of weeks now.. I love the fact that I can see the water. I have not tried the accessories as yet. I use it to make water for tea. I don't put my tea bags in the pot. I got this so I could control the temperature of the water for different kinds of tea. I find it does make a difference what temperature the water is. My tea is much better now. No bitter or strong taste. A plus also is that if I am not right there when it is up to temp the pot holds the water at the temperature I selected. I don't know how long it would hold it but I do know it has held for approximately ten minutes. I am very happy with this pot and would definitely recommend it.

Third times a charm.. Hope it lasts.
I've had this pot for a while now and use it almost every day, almost exclusively for making teas. This is the third one of these I had to order to get a good one. The first was damaged by Amazon delivery and returned before scheduled delivery. The second came and did not operate and I returned it for a third one that seems to work OK.I've had these digital electric kettles before and this one is better than ones I've had in the past.PRO: Large, removable glass and stainless lid. A lot of the kettles in this price range have hinged plastic lids and they will not last. The steam breaks up the plastic and the hinges break from trying to get in there to try and clean them. This one has a nice lid and a large opening that makes it easier to clean and gives a lot of versatility for using the pot for things other than boiling water.PRO: the included stainless steel tea diffuser is easy to use and has a nice small filter for straining out small particles.PRO: lots of features and settings for different heating and cooking modes.PRO: nice big pot, but full, it can be a bit heavy.CONS: The controls operate a bit differently and are not real intuitive for operation. It's obvious that the author of the instructions didn't have English as their primary language. They tried, but the instructions are not that great in explaining the pot features.CON: Not a big deal, but this thing beeps like R2D2 arguing with his wife, and I can find no way to turn it off or limit the volume. Every operation and every time you pick up the pot off of the base, beep...On the whole, it's a nice pot for the money, if it lasts. If it doesn't, I'll get back in here and update the review.

Good
At least it looks good! And the instruction of it is clear. However, it seems that it’s difficult to clean completely as the first photo shows. I don’t know it’s caused by water or the pot itself.I just boiled some water. It seems ok. I would try other functions of it later.

stopped working after a few days..
I cancelled returning the product... a friend who knows electronics did a quick fix on the icookpot... saved me the hassle & valuable time of returning the item..Not sure if this icookpot was built for heavy use. I had it on warm every night for a few days so my tea will be ready in the morning... several days after... it stopped working.. could be a bad batch or just plain inferior quality appliance. Will be returning this.

(Updated) About 12 months ownership. Idea is good. Quality is debatable.
Updated (January 2020):After a year of ownership I can say I like the function and idea of the product. However, there comes an issue with quality. Early on in use (maybe third time of using it) I used the attachment for using loose leaf tea in the kettle. Afterward I saw circular rust mark (size of the bubbles when the water is heating) and I learned this section heats more than the rest of the heating unit. The second issue, I find more of a problem than the first one, is the white base underneath the heating unit is deteriorating and white particles are floating in the water.I have also used it make boiled eggs and it has worked as expected thus far.____________________________+Easy to clean+Temperature Control+Portion for loose teaI've own this product for some months and have been enjoying it.

Still trying things
I will update this review as I use the ICOOKPOT more.I've made oatmeal several times. I like that I can put the oatmeal and water in the pot at the same time and set it to the oatmeal setting. The only thing is it never went to the "keep warm" setting. I let it cook for 18 minutes when I finally just hit cancel and then put it to warm. The oatmeal sticks to the bottom and is not easy to clean. I am still playing around with the oatmeal setting.I made tea and that was good.I boiled water but it took longer than my electric kettle. I am going to try boiling water again -maybe the first time was a fluke. I'll let you know.I haven't made soup or heated milk (I'll get back to you on this) these two functions I'm really interested in trying.I do wish it came with a few recipes to give some ideas.Edited 2/10/19: I made oatmeal again, the same amount I always do and this time it boiled over which I'd be okay with if it was easier to clean. Getting the oatmeal out of all the crevices is hard so now there is a bit of it stuck in between the handle part and also the stainless steel band.I also timed how long it took water to boil it was just under 6 minutes (5:53) which is fine.I really want to like this because I love all the functions and that it's made out of glass (except for the "sealing" ring at the bottom it's silicon I think).I still need to try heating milk.Edited: I ended up returning this item.

Superb product. Very easy to use. Can use to boil eggs and even make yogurt. I use it everyday to boil all kinds of tea. Efficient and saves time. The design itself is sleek and looks clean on the counter. Great customer service support!

Only glass and stainless steel touch the water
This is really nice. The lid is all glass and stainless steel. No plastic strainer, no plastic touching the water anywhere. The controls have many useless settings but easy enough to get to what you want. Only wish it were 1500 watts rather than 800. However, it is much quieter than 1500 watt kettles.
