These replacements do work about as well as the original. Seemingly the only way to make the coupler last is to run the blender on "pulse" mode rather than as a normal blender. Since doing this, the coupler has lasted. The tool is a big help in installing the replacement coupler.

Quick and easy replacement using the wrench that came with it. Blender worked perfectly with the new part installed. TIP - Hold the old piece with a pair of pliers to keep it from turning. Blender threads are reversed, so turn wrench to right to loosen the old part.
