The media could not be loaded.  These rivet nuts work as well as any I’ve used. As with any brand, it’s important you get them properly installed and crushed/retracted for them to work right. With my particular rivet nut tool in thin metal (like sheet metal) I typically set the rivet, take up a little more slack in my tool and carefully do it again to ensure it's tight. If it is tight, I won’t have to crush/retract it anymore, however, if I can easily take up the slack, then I do so until it is clearly bottomed out by feel. In a typical sheet metal application, I do end up crimping each twice. In the attached video, the sheet metal is actually doubled underneath, so it is thick enough that a single shot is all that is needed. Hope that helps!

Quality is good. Received fast. I ordered the 1/4 -20 thread. The only problem I’ve had is that there have been a few random metric ones mixed in. At first I thought the thread was messed up. But after I checked they were a completely different thread. I ordered 500 of these and so far I’ve used 100 and had 3 with this issue. Fortunately for me I have and use the metric ones also. So I simply put them on my metric stock.

I used a ton of these while to replace missing/stripped nuts on my 72 cj5 floor. They fit great and make it very convenient to remove the trans plates.

Ordered 200 of these, and finally tried to use them today, neither package was actually 1/4-20, white sticker on boxes says 1/4-20 but they aren't.besides being shipped the wrong product entirely they're your typical rivnuts. quick and easy, very affordable, low quality metal with sub par holding strength, to bad they'll sit on a shelf unused until the end of time.
