what size dimensions is the xxxl is it made smaller or made bigger relative to normal xxxl?

I ordered an XL and it was made BIGGER than Normal (which is rare). Most leather coats I have run a bit small as compared to sizes. This one was very ample - above normal as far as size....if I had to scale it form 1 to 10 it would almost be a 10 versus other coats.
