These are great , haven't worked out all the settings yet , but the curl I’ve used so far has been great . My hair stays in the curl all day and onto the next . Yes it drops a bit but that’s due to length and weight . I can use shine spray and some product after which keeps it shiny and soft yet the curl stays in just fine . Highly recommend. The curlers I have been using just died all the time , I was using rechargeable ones and decided to take the plunge on these as they plug in , wow I’m so pleased I got them . Don’t hesitate to buy these if you’ve got the urge once you get used to the way they work on pulling the hair in , you will save time , they cut the time of setting and styling , I can pretty much spend ten minutes in a morning after washing and drying my hair the night before . So easy to use . A little practice on making sure the opening is at the right angle to wind the hair in . Try watching an instructional Vidio before hand . They have some on you tube .

I have slightly longer than shoulder length hair. It still has some bleach at the very ends left over from lockdown grow-out. My hair is naturally wavy. This product is very easy to use to produce soft coils. I have found using quite small sections work best on my hair. When I’ve done the whole head ( I still find doing the back quite tricky and have to check with two mirrors that I haven’t missed any strands) I don’t immediately brush it. I find the waves last longer if I minimise how often I brush it through. I don’t use hairspray but I suppose you could. I use it on the lowest heat setting. I don’t use it every day because I dont need to look AMAZING (!) all the time and I don’t want to overheat my ends, especially. On ‘down days’ I let my hair dry naturally. The only thing I would say is that it says to use on freshly washed and dried hair with no product on it; occasionally I might want to ‘zoop up’ my hair in between washes. I haven’t tried doing it that way yet so don’t know if it would actually work.

When this first arrived, I was both excited and apprehensive to try this product. I'd heard so much about it and yet still had my concerns as to whether it would curl my fair, thin hair without damaging it. Product arrived quickly and in good condition (despite the product box being a little beaten) and once I got the hang of using it after a few fiddly practise attempts, id like to say it curls a dream. All this said, because it is a little on the expensive side, if you have the time, patience and skill to curl your hair with a curling tong, I wouldn't recommend this product as it curls the same (just quicker and with less skills involved) as a curling tong. However if you don't have the time to use the traditional curling tong and know you will get avid use out of this, then I would definitely recommend it. Also this is probably the best seller on here to buy this slightly overpriced item from as they do the one of the best value for money prices including guaranteed next day delivery.

After buying tongs from Babyliss and hopelessly getting uneven curls using the ghd straightener, my friend recommended this. I am useless at styling but after one use I produced these lush curls on my mum in about 25 minutes. They are still holding a day later. There are different heat setting depending how loose or tight you want the curls, and the machine will automaitcally beep if the hair isnt inserted correct. Still suggest watching a video tutorial before use. Easier to do the back of the head with the help of someone else. I suggest doing each strand and letting it cool down before styiling or setting with hairspray, also works best if the hair is twisted before inserting into the machine... and works best with non-conditioned hair and pre heat treatment... Definitely recommend this ladies if you want nice quick even looking curls without faffing with tongs and straighteners :) x

Easy to use but curls aren’t as big and bouncy as I’d want. Curls do stay in longer though.

Great use them ever day

Reviewing Babyliss Hydro-Fusion Curl secret . I bought this as an upgrade to the first version of this product that Babyliss bought out about 8 years ago and that I have been using for all this time . Unfortunately it's not a patch on the original despite having more features. Its heavier , more bulky and really cheaply made . The first time I used it my hair tangled badly and the curlers wouldnt release it and I had to cut it off - I spoke to babyliss asking if it was a fault and they said it was user error despite me using the same product for 8 years without issue. Despite this I persevered - it happened again and I had to cut my hair again . Babyliss then said it wasnt suitable for my long hair despite the models on the ads having the same length hair. I had my hair cut by 6 inches to even it up and started very carefully using it again . It would still tangle now and again and not release even when turned off unlike the old model which beeps and releases hair if it tangles. Really disappointing and even more so with the low quality build , then yesterday after only a few months of use one of the slide buttons snapped off as i slid it forward . The button is very thin and was only held on by a thin metal pin glued to plastic .. not at all robust nor suitable for sliding back and forth every time its used.. I've given up , my hairdresser said its not safe to use grip and burning hair without being able to release it and its broken already and not fit for purpose. Amazon have been brilliant and issued a refund - I do not want a replacement , Thankfully I hadnt thrown the old curlers away and they are still going strong . Babyliss have lost my trust - it was such a good brand .
