I added tuners to my violin and play old time music now. Love these strings.

Great step up for intermediate who are wanting to switch out from beginner strings or for advance players who do not want to purchase expensive strings. I've used this brand on almost every instrument I've owned and normally enjoyed the sound they produce.

Works well for price

I have been playing violin for the past 7 years, and every one of those years, I have gone back to Thomastik Strings. They have an incomparable tone/price ratio, and produce a wonderful sound (if correctly played, of course). Just as a note of warning, the E string does not have a loop-end.I would definitely recommend this to another musician.

I think this string is used, not new. The wrapping at the ball end of the string was all bunched up like someone had been trying to force it into their tailpiece.

Replacement string and I love the tone these strings produce on my violin.

I have been using dorminats for a long time. But it is the first time to meet such conditined string ever since. The envelope was seriously creased and there was not plastic bag to hold the string inside. Further more, the string itself has lots of chips on it. No can tell it is new.
