It works!
Love this product for killing trees and shrubs you no longer want. Keeps them from sprouting new growth. Also works on invasive vines. Currently applying to tree stumps hoping to break down roots for easy removal, worked on smaller trees in past. Comes with a squirt top for small areas. Can be applied with a paint brush for more controlled coverage.

Perfect for ELM
I went online and tried various recommendations which wasted my time and money. This is what everyone *should* be talking about instead. A drill, some spade bits, and some tordon will at least cripple even a large elm tree. Make as large and deep a whole as you can drill and fill it with tordon, then wait 2-4 weeks for results. This is a tree killer, not a magic stump disappearer. And yes, it can also kill nearby plants, so be careful.

Gets the job done first time.
This is a great product! In our area we have the evasive Chicken Tree (Chinese Tallow). It will come up anywhere. If you just cut it back, it returns from the stump. It’s in your flower bed along your fenceline. I now cut it back and squeeze a little Tordon to cover the cut area. When you come back the following season, it’s dead, you can just kick the little stump out the ground.

Easy pour lid and colored herbicide
Easy pour lid included was helpful. I appreciated that the herbicide was colored so I could see where I was applying it. Unsure of the results of the herbicide just yet. But I did notice my stumps appear to be rotting now and discolored.

Best invasive plant killer out there
We have invasive trees and brush on our property. To kill the invasive trees we use the Hack And Squirt method we found on you tube. This kills the tree and we can eventually find the time to cut them down and use them for camp fire wood. To kill invasive vines we cut the vine with gardening shears or even a bow saw if the vine is thick. On the cut end ( that is growing out of the ground ) use a small applicator to apply the Tordon and you’re done. Maybe circle back in a week or two to see if the vine needs another treatment but it’s very rare we have to do that. Works on poison ivy, bittersweet, tree of heaven, poison sumac and river birch. Please use as directed because this can kill adjacent vegetation that you want to keep. I use an applicator bottle I found here on Amazon. I think it was a package of 6 small plastic bottles with a screw cap that has a foam dabber attached to the cap. One very important this to remember is to use this mid to late summer when the plant is trying to absorb energy from the sun to store in its roots for winter so it can grow again in the spring. The plant will absorb the herbicide into the roots killing it. Tordon can’t do its job if you apply it in the spring or early summer because the plant is sending energy from the roots to the new leaves it is trying to grow.

Great
Cut down a tree that wasn’t supposed to spread. Bought another product that just killed the suckers for a bit. Ordered this and was fairly generous. Great stuff barely any suckers left. We probably had 30- 40 and then down to 10 and now just a few. Better price and more product!

Tordon saved my sanity
I’ve had the absolute worst time for quite a few years of invasive trees and wood vines that kept popping up and rapidly spreading, no matter how hard I tried to keep them at bay. The previous owner was an older lady, and I guess she didn’t realize mulberry trees, wood vines and sucker trees are among the worst you could plant, especially in town. But that’s exactly what she planted…all over the yard. I felt like I was in a living hell in a never ending battle trying to get rid of those trees. But then, a couple years ago, a friend told me about Tordon, and how it will kill the most horrible of invasive trees. Boy, was he right! They stopped growing in their tracks. After a few years, the stumps were dead enough to kick them out of the dirt. What I’m trying to say, is if this product kills those horrid trees from hell on my property, it’ll kill what y’all need it for. My recommendation is, cut the tree/bush/wood vine as far down to its base as possible, pour the recommended amount of Tordon directly on the fresh cut “wound”. Make sure you put the Tordon on as soon as you can before the fresh cut dries, otherwise it reduces the chances of the poison to really seep into the stump wound. Do this, and you’re good to go. I give this product a big 5 stars.
