SunTropics Coconut Juice with Pulp, 17.5-Ounce (Pack of 12)

My last GF got me into Coconut water 9 years ago and I have not looked back since.Coconut water is full of electrolytes and has less sugar than other fruit juice. It quenches your thirst and tastes yummy!It has a semi-neutral taste so you can make great smoothies with fruit and it won't change the flavor.I usually buy the young coconuts. Melissa is one of the quality brands.I use my cleaver and crack the top open. I drink the water chilled. Sometimes I make a smoothie with the water with the spooned out coconut meat, a frozen banana, papaya, and mango. Talk about tropical. Delicious! Sometimes I even add a tablespoon of peanut butter :)I have these canned coconut Juice as back up when I don't have the coconuts or I am on the go.I've tasted every coconut water out there. Most are from concentrate and taste like crap.There is only three I recommend: Amy & Brian, Nirvana, and C2O.Amy & Brian is sweeter and $1 per can more expensive, C20 is more nutty tasting at a $1 per can savings. Nirvana is also a great option that you'll be able to find at your local markets. SunTropics I was not too crazy about; It has a bit pungent sour taste.Whether fresh or in a can, I have coconut water daily!

I bought 4 cases of this and would buy it again. Very reasonable cost, and a nice quality product. Of many of the coconut waters out there, the flavors vary significantly. If you drink coconut water from the actual cocoNUT, then you know the distinct flavor, undertones, and aftertaste. There is always a mineral-like tone which is expected, that is partly why it is good for you. Many bottled "popular" name brand FooFoo labels manage to remove this distinct flavor somehow. I don't want to get into the science of this or accuse any company of sabotage, this is just what I have noticed. SunTropics, on the other hand, tastes very close to the fresh water.I only gave 4 stars as the seller may want to pad the corners of the box before shipping, 2 of my cases arrived looking as though King Kong tripped and fell on it. Every single can was disfigured, but managed to keep all unopened, so ended ok.

I started drinking coconut water for health reasons. I do a lot of yoga and it has eliminated the cramping in my feet during practice. At first I was not excited about the taste of unsweetened coconut water but over the years have developed a taste for it. It is quite expensive, so I have tried different kinds. I love Amy and Brian, but it is so expensive. C2o water is great also and less expensive than Amy and Brian. I came upon this water the other day and for the price and the good ratings, thought I would give it a try. It is much too bland tasting for me. I know there are different kinds of coconuts, but this one did not give me the natural sweetness and flavor of my two favorites. Too bad, as the price was comparatively good.

This is the very BEST coconut juice I have tried, and I tried a lot of brands trying to find one I liked! This one is the closest to the taste of the juice gotten right out of the 'young coconuts' that one gets at the Asian grocery.There is no added sugar or pulp, just juice. The taste is mild, and not really too coconut-y....This juice does not raise my blood sugar, and serves very well to 'tide me over' until I can get a real meal, when managing my blood sugar. I'll be glad when I can get more ...!

The reason I give this 3 stars is not because of taste as it really taste's good and is very refreshing, my husband is hooked on coconut water, it because last month my shipment of 4 cased was nineteen dollars and some change, this month it went up to twenty seven and change per case. That is a really big difference so I chose to go with CO2 instead as it is cheaper and I found it really tastes better.

The product is good. Not sweet. The problem is that it is too expensive. If you can sell this product at a lower price, a lot of people will buy it. Also, there is too much competition in the market for coconut juice and just read the label of the product that you are to buy and buy the cheapest that you can see good and stick to it.

Several cans shipped dented and I unfortunately had to throw one out because it started to leak. The taste is typically quite good, though compared to C20 and Zico, this is a very inconsistent taste from shipment to shipment. Some cans are very nutty with lots of pulp, and then the next will be very sweet (almost like a diet soda) with minimal pulp, and there is the rare can that has a distinct off taste.

I've been subscribing to this for more than one year now. It is delicious and tasty. I work in a dental office and often when I'm thirsty, this is a great pick me up. I feel hydrated and comfortable within 5 minutes. I also like that there is no added sugar or preservatives. I used to drink another brand but that contained added sugar and preservatives so I stopped drinking that brand. Now I just recently subscribed to their variety with pulp included. I do receive a few dented cans here and there like some others, but they did not leak whatsoever. I've enjoyed every can dented or not. And the cost is very reasonable. Thanks for a great product ST!
