Not all beds, like mine doesn't have the box the direction implied. Had to YouTube how to program for beds that don't have the black box. Direction don't mention any other alternatives but after crawling under the bed many times looking for it to make sure I wasn't missing it. YouTube saved the day.

Be cautious with these controls, they work well but are expensive if replacement is needed.

I had to call customer support to help with pairing and they were very helpful. Call them right away if your bed doesn't have the setup in the instructions you need, it will save some time. A little pricey, but what isn't.

Remote needs to be programmed and directions don’t make it easy to pair with bed. Should have said that in advertisements
