Brilliant picks for Jazz and speed - consistent warm tone.
These are perfect for me for playing jazz. If you've not tried one, do yourself a favour. In real life, they're a lot sleeker than many images would suggest. The bevel is perfectly shaped and consistent around the whole edge giving an equal tone whatever angle you strike the string with. They lend themselves to fast, sweep picking and solo lines. I think they're probably a bit small for strumming duties.Tone is deep and warm, and even across all strings, and no thin sounding top E. It's a small pick so very accurate.Very durable - in fact they don't seem to mark at all, and even my Blue Chip Jazz 50 and 60 show small microabrasion at the edges.Brilliant picks. Great value. Boutique pick function with low price. Do yourself a favour and try some. I now prefer these to my Blue Chips.

Great product, confusing listing
These are brilliant plectrums and certainly worth the premium. Once you are used to them you find smaller thinner picks lack the dynamic control that these give you.The only issue is with the amazon listing which states there are 36 while in fact there are only 6 in a pack.

I like them - make sure you get the correct ones.
OK - first things first, I've been confused before when buying the black Primetone picks. There are a few different sizes and shapes to choose from but It seems common practice for a seller to use the same picture for the whole range, and sometimes the description isn't clear. Add to this the fact that Amazon sometimes seems to group reviews together for different products in the same range and you have a recipe for confusion. I bought this --- 477P508 --- and I got what I expected three large, very thick(5mm) pointed plectrums. This is what I like, but the thickness won't suit everyone. I feel thick plectrums give a mellower sound but make the fast stuff a little trickier, but I'm sure that would depend on how you play

Great picks for studying
I can't elaborate much on it, but the format of these picks somehow makes you mindful of what you are doing (the thickness I suppose) but also helps you glide faster through the strings (the edge design I suppose), easing up the path on some exercises that seemed impossible before. A but "too mellow" sounding, when performing I go back to Big Stubby's 2.0, but these somehow (again, can't elaborate much) seem better for practicing.

Good
They are awesomely but you have only two options or you love it or you hate it... you can play fast as hell and with a warm tone, but forget about funky stuff..

Incorrect number of picks and used not new
Ordered what I thought was a refill pack of 36 picks and received a pack of 6 from the warehouse which had clearly been returned by someone else.
