Purchased this battery for my trip-wire car horn camping alarm. The horns were intended for cars undoubtably, but hey I’m a DIY guy. The horn is rated at 12v-5amps(watts never tested by myself ) so when I found this battery I wasn’t sure if it would be powerful enough. Turns out the battery worked great, although the horn doesn’t reach the maximum loudness probably due to the low watt output, it is still very loud. 12v train horns don’t work with this battery, but 14v does. Battery charges fairly fast and I haven’t encountered any heating issues while in use or while charging. Battery and charger are light weight which makes it perfect for my hiking and camping expeditions. Very pleased and will buy more in the future for other diy projects. Shipped fast as well.

Works great for my LNR Precision Mountain Topper transceiver. Will last an entire overnight POTA activation (and lots more) on one charge. Perfect voltage for the Mountain Topper. Plugs right in.

I bought this as an experiment for a less expensive alternative than AA lithium batteries for my trail camera. I made a small box to protect it from the elements. It has been working flawlessly for a couple of months and a couple thousand pictures. I just take it out and recharge it periodically.
