Totally satisfied. 10 out of 10.
Hard cover quality is very good. The fonts are also of medium size, easy to read. Paper quality is also good. I'm sure this will last longer.

Feels like it will rip when you flip the page
Pages are very thin you can see the typing on the back of the page along with the shades from the next page. Feels like it will rip when you flip the page. And since the prints are too small, it makes it really difficult and tiring to read. Bible is already a difficult book to read. Now it's a total sacrifice :) Gave two star only for the contents and receiving it on time.

Solid, Simple, Value
I gave this Bible 5 stars because it serves its purpose well. I wanted an inexpensive, no-frills Bible in the updated NIV (part of the intent behind the NIV is for it to reflect changes in our understanding of the English language. Therefore, periodic updates are necessary, 2011 being the most recent). This Bible has thick paper with little to no bleed-through, a durable hardcover, excellent lay-flat binding, and it is a manageable size. With this Bible, expect no additional helps outside of translators notes at the bottom of the page. This is not a reference Bible, nor does it have maps or a concordance. It is also black letter, which many people prefer. It is simply the updated NIV translation, nothing more.I recommend this to everyone who wants a durable copy of the updated NIV without all of the extras. At this low price, it is an immense value. Note: this product can be bought in bulk for church or classroom use elsewhere on the internet.

BOOK OF LIFE
To every Christian it is the book of life. The English is easy to read and understand. However, the letters were a bit too small to my expectation. The advert indicatesthat it is a large print however, in the book itself it is smali. Hope this will be corrected.

A Bible for those who appreciate simplicity, durability, and portability
Sometimes I wonder why people pay so much more money for a fancy Bible that looks so much better but is not nearly as durable as a good old-fashioned pew Bible like this one. The binding on this Bible is both glued and sewn; the cover is thick and sturdy; and the pages are thick and bright white with minimal bleed-through of text; and the font is just right for people with healthy eyes. It is not a compact edition, but it is still small and light-weight enough to be carried quite comfortably in one hand. No, there are no frills included-- no concordance or cross-references or red letters or study helps other than a table of weights and measures-- but this means that there is nothing to distract the reader from the sacred text. The simplicity, durability, and portability of this Bible make it an ideal candidate for readers who want a bare-bones edition of the Holy Scriptures that can withstand years of heavy use on par with a high school textbook.

NIV bible
I received this bible very quickly, and was happy to see that the lettering is in a font size and style that makes it easy enough to read. I think the font could be slightly bigger but it is comfortable enough without reading glasses. Some of the other reviewers gave this bible lower ratings because of the paper thickness and the letter sizing, but I have no trouble with either so I guess it depends on what you're used to and eye weakness. As for the content, I have no complaint either. It is the New International Version, which is in the newer dialect, which is to say the wording is not using cometh, seeketh, findeth, and that sort of wording. It is clearer, easier to understand. I am enjoying reading this version of the bible.
