The walking foot is a moving feed system that holds and moves fabric between the presser foot's upper feed dog and the machines's lower feed dogs to better control difficult fabrics as well as multiple layers of fabric. The walking foot is great for quilting, sewing when matching prints or plaids or fabric drift is an issue. Walking Feet are not for use in reverse or side to side sewing as well as some built in stitches that include other than forward movement of the feed dogs. I use this with my brother sewing machine. It works just fine. I use it for fleece and minky projects. A lot better value than spending over $100 from brother for basically the same product. Fits the machine perfectly

Didn't work for me
It was a crap-shoot and I lost. This foot doesn't fit my machine in anyway, shape, or form. I'm not returning it because that's just way to much hassle, but I don't recommend this project to anyone unless they know absolutely that it would fit their machine.

Works fine. But it is advertised as being made by Brother. It is not. Comes in a generic orange box with made in Taiwan stamped on it. Also comes with a sewing guide that has no instructions for use. I haven't tried it yet.

Very useful!
Great for sewing knits and thin fabric if you don’t have a knit foot. Fits my brother HE300 or SE400 nicely!

Ce pied ne semble pas très solide. Les tissus a de la difficulté à se faire entraîner par les petites griffes en plastique de ce pied...

False advertisement
The item was advertised as a brother attachment. It’s not it’s a knock off. Keeps on falling apart when stitching near a boarder( uneven surface.
