Well, not at first. I bought the 100 PSI version and it was venting at at, as near as I can tell, 80 PSI. Fortunately, the vent pressure is easily adjusted by removing the end cap and screwing the plunger inside to raise the vent pressure.

It worked great

This replaced the original pressure relief valve that was slowly leaking on my well pressure tank setup. Seems well made with cleanly machined threads on the fitting, at least as well made as the previously installed one. Since it's necessary to shut off the well and drain the pressure tank to replace this thing, you may as well replace the drain valve and pressure gauge if those are also failing, and check/top off the pressure tank's air charge while you're at it. Start to finish, took me about a half hour.

Reasonably priced brass pressure valve for water. Used in well jet pump piping to make sure that water pressure tank doesn't get overcharged psi if jet pump malfunctions and doesn't turn off and keeps pumping.

This is leaking about a cup of water per day. I used a pressure gauge when installing this and I know my water is under 75psi so there's no reason it should be dripping when rated at 100 psi. Don't waste your time on this. My time is too valuable to be replacing things twice.
