Previously Issued US GI Woodland Camo NBC Bags

It arrived in the condition promised. The bag had clearly been used and was field dirty. It had probably been used for the purpose it was issued for in a training environment without the benefit of having been inspected by some supply nco. It was no big deal. I simply cleaned it by soaking it bucket of cold, soapy water, and brushed it until all the grime was out. I would buy again.

I bought this bdu-llc-claimed "Used-VeryGood" condition. The bag arrived rather dusty. I didn't think anything of it because sometimes surplus stuff is dirty. Just after 30 days I finally got to try to use this and immediately my skin started burning horribly. I suspected it had something on it so I washed it; however afterward it still causes skin burning. After some research I discovered that the residue on it was not actually dust but instead the substance the military uses for testing chemical and biological warfare! (Basically the soldiers were trained to pull their chemical protection suits/supplies out of this bag to put them on or use them in response to being exposed to a simulated nuclear, biological, and chemical attack. The military uses what essentially is a form of tear gas). This tear gas can be made of any number of different chemicals none of which you want to touch your skin. The recommendation for clothing and other articles exposed to tear gas is disposal because the residue can be difficult if not impossible to remove. Bdu was no help.

The tough feel and usefulness of this sack is great. My only CON (if you want to call it a Con) is that this bag is slightly smaller than the standard issue one I received when I was listed in the Army.

If what you're looking for is functionality this is your item. If you're looking for new and in perfect condition this isn't for you! It's used military issue! It smells like deployment equipment! Take it from a Iraq veteran that this is highly used equipment! But it's still functional. You might get it worn or with a small hole, or with a bad odor, but it's still decent quality. It doesn't come with the clips so the picture is misleading. I hike as a recreational activity. This bag will serve well outside my pack for quick to grab items. Don't expect perfection or new, but expect good quality and functionality!

It looks exactly like the army issued color. It's the exact bad used.

I like to use as a small backpack

This product had something stuck inside it I was afraid to touch. On top of the smell which I am not sure which fowel thing might have died but something was so bad I have now sanitized in the washing machine 2x. This is a great idea and product but can you please launder and clean before Making and shipping I am not sure I am ever going to get the smell out and this is a gift for my sons birthday. So thank you for the cool smelly idea. Please be advised. NOT OK!
