The texture is super thick and creamy, a little goes a long way. It leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated for hours, especially during colder months when dryness is a problem. The scent is light and classic, nothing overpowering. I mostly use it on my hands, elbows, and feet, but honestly, it’s gentle enough to use anywhere you need extra moisture. Only small downside: the lid can be a little tough to snap back on properly sometimes, but it’s not a dealbreaker. It still seals fine and keeps the product fresh. My people! There are products that just work, and the Nivea Creme in its iconic blue can (face, hands and body) is one of them. My context of use is triple: as a night cream to seal my routine, as SOS balm for elbows and dry heels, and as an emergency first in dry areas before makeup. Its biggest pro is the hydration power. Thanks to its formula rich in Eucerit and Glycerin, it creates an incredible protective barrier. It's the ultimate solution to the extreme dryness we sometimes experience with California's air conditioning or dry weather. The scent is the classic, clean and comforting; for me, it's pure nostalgia. Versatility is another strong point: a single product for the whole body and face, which simplifies any routine. The sealed can format ensures freshness and keeps it free of external contaminants if used with a spatula. Despite being a resounding 5 stars, I must be honest with the areas of improvement for those who do not know it: Dense Texture: It is a very thick and dense cream (almost like a paste), so it requires rubbing and heating a little on the hands before applying to absorb well. Finish: Leaves a noticeable glow and an oily barrier feeling for a few minutes. If your skin is very oily or if you're looking for an immediate matte finish, it's not for you. Packaging: While I love the can, it's not the most hygienic format in the long run if you don't use a spatula, as you insert your fingers directly. Daytime Use: For those of us who live in warm climates, you may feel heavy to wear during the day under makeup, unless you have extremely dry skin. Comparison: It is unmatched by its price and effectiveness. While more expensive creams offer a lighter finish, none exceed Nivea's barrier power. I was surprised when i opened the package. It’s a big container and it is also HEAVY, because it’s very dense! Nice and thick so you don’t need a lot. I put it on my face and it doesn’t burn or irritate my skin at all and I have very sensitive skin on my face so that’s great. Doesn’t feel “greasy” just don’t put too much and massage it in and it’s perfect, especially if you live somewhere very cold or dry.

Is there any way to thank Nivea for finally putting their great creme in plastic? The amount is wonderful but it is a heavy cream and the old glass jar made it twice as heavy, no doubt adding to shipping costs as well as difficult to handle the jar itself. I use it every day, works wonders on my callused feet, my desert dry skin in summer and winter. Great stuff and now better in plastic!!

This cream is great for extremely dry skin. I have psoriasis, and this is one of the only creams that begins to touch it. The size of this for the price is a steal, the tub is huge. It absorbs quickly into my very dry skin and leaves it very soft and feeling protected. It is a high quality cream at an excellent price for people with very dry skin. It has a soft, but strong,lovely scent. My one gripe with this product is that it says for face or body. I tend to prefer my skin products fragrance free, but especially for my face. So I do not use this on my face at all. It works great for the body though, so if you don't mind fragrance and have very dry skin, this could be a great great total body and face cream. For me, I love it for the dry skin on my body.

Face cream is very nice and is very absorbent on my skin.

Have used this for a very long time. I’ve tried other moisturizers and have always come back to this. Very thick and moisturizing. I use a snail mucin before applying this and have to wait a while for it to dry or this cream doesn’t apply well. Still a 10/10 tho

Absorbs well and is incredibly moisturizing. Must-have in the winter for feet, elbows, knees, and for relieving any dry, itchy skin. It’ll last for a long time, too.
