It's just one oil filter in the box. There is no additional assembly included (or required). Just peel off the plastic cover and screw it on.

Will this filter fit a John Deere 1025R ?

The engine used on the JD 1025R is some version of the Yanmar 3TNV80F The Yanmar filter part number listed for that engine is 119305-35151, but the Yanmar 119305-35170 filter is also listed as replacing it. Having a version of the same motor on a flail mower, I ordered this filter. Hopefully, it is the genuine Yanmar part shown in the advert.

This is original equipment. The cheap ones are usually wider and made it not fit on my yanmar 424 tractor. It's a tight fit.
