Look Inside How Things Work

My 3.5 year old is in the midst of the “why” phase, and this is the perfect book to satisfy his curiosity. The amount of information and flaps is incredible, my husband claims he has learned a lot while reading it to our son. The content, format and quality truly make it an excellent toddler book, one of the most relevant from this series.

I bought this for my 3 year old nephew, and he absolutely loves it. His new favorite book! We also love how it’s educational teaching him how things work like car engines and Ferris wheels. Need to buy more in this series!

Really liked this book. Explanations may be a little too complicated for a four year old, but my grandson loved the format. You have to find all the tabs to open to discover the answer to the questions as you read to the small child. Feel it will last for several years as the topics covered are well worth revisiting as the child matures

Just wow. This book has so much text. My kid is obsessed

The book itself is a great book. My 4 year old boy is fascinated. There are 4 pages about house items like fridge, dishwasher, toaster, toilet, plug ins, water faucets etc, and the other pages more towards farm equipment, emergency vehicles, planes, boats, trains etc. But it did come with a flap ripped off and minor other damage. It came in a 'Thriftbooks' packaging which is a website I get books from more often but this was suppose to be new.

Great book for a curious boy

Bought this for my four year old for Christmas, he loves it and references the book often when he’s explaining to me how things work. He is a child with dozens of questions an hour so the book was helpful, especially during Covid times,to explain how things work without screen time

Great starter book for kids interested in mechanics and such. Our 2 yr old son is obsessed. Has started correctly naming many diff car and truck parts bc of our nightly reading this to him. DOesnt go in depth w all the different things but it gets the job done. We love it!

My 3-year-old loves this book!Along with other Usborne loft the flap books! He loves trains and all things that go so we have this one and the How Trains Work book. He’s always asking to read it.

Grandson has enjoyed reading this at bedtime (age 3), or rather having it read to him. Gives easy idea of how things work.
