ORANSI Max HEPA Air Purifier Smoke, Dust and Allergies, 17”x22”x8”, White

I really like this air purifiers slim profile. The only thing I can’t figure out is how to keep it in quiet mode. Even when Auto is off, it will pop itself back into high speed fan mode on its own. I haven’t found anything in the instructions to help me turn it off all the time, but other than that minor issue, everything else about this product is good!

My 2nd Oransi MAX OVHM80 Air Purifier. This apartment had filthy, filthy carpet. After removal and replacement with commercial 24" x 24" squares, I activated the Oransi(s). Quickly, after three weeks, the front filters needed cleaning. But now, they hum along and dust is much reduced.Continued cleaning and vacuuming of each surface will eventually result in a clean, dust free home.I looked at many air purifier evaluation sites. Oransi wins.

I was suffering from a chronic cough, due to oppressive smoke from the 2020 California wildfires. That problem was completely alleviated almost immediately - as long as I remained in the same room where the unit was plugged in. If I spent more than a few minutes in another room, I was back to coughing and a sore throat. I'd say that's a very convincing demonstration of its effectiveness! It's pricey, but after researching many alternate brands and models, this one had by far the most positive reviews for a model that provides complete protection (pre-filter, activated carbon filter, and actual HEPA filter - not just a HEPA "style" filter). It's noisy enough on the highest couple of settings to force me to turn up the TV, but how else is it supposed to move enough air? On the "Silent" setting, you can hear it if you listen for it, but it's quiet enough to quickly forget it or sleep through it. I find that the "Silent" setting works fine in our master bedroom, but higher settings are required for the living room. It's not super light, but not that heavy either. I have no problem moving it to another room, but I probably wouldn't let the kids try it, especially at the price of this thing! It's surprisingly thin (from front to back), but that makes it unstable if you have small children or pets that are inclined to knock things over. But that also means it doesn't take up a lot of room. It's fairly sleek looking, in my opinion. I would have preferred a different color for the bottom of the front panel (like making the whole thing black, instead of just the control panel), but not a deal-breaker for me. Replacement filters are pricey, but only needed once a year, so not too bad. I've been running it continuously for about 2 months now and have had no problems. Unpacking and setting it up did involve one confusing step that took me about 15 minutes to figure out. Unfortunately, I can't remember enough of the specifics to help anyone out with that part. Sorry!

Already used this almost Daily for 1 year . Absolutely works as advertised. No problems with fan motor or Build Quality or motor speed control etc. Replace filters a bit pricey recommended change intervals once per year. Helps a lot with smoke from Forrest fires etc. Watch for sales either here or on sign up. On Oronsi .com website ten year Warranty Included...

1) The air purification of this works. And it works really, really well. It's very easy to notice a difference in the air. Allergies are much reduced with it. I would give it 5 stars for this... 6 stars, if I could. It actually makes the air feel 'softer' in some way (tough to describe). Also the anion feature is handy. Previous to this product, we had another also very expensive air filter, and the air quality didn't even compare to this one. This is so much better. A++2) It has many speed settings, which is great. And the maximum speed processes a LOT of air. The bad thing is that at it's lowest speed, it isn't low enough, as it's still rather loud. It's called 'Silent' mode, and it is far, far from silent. Yes, this may be the quietest HEPA filter, but it seems bizarre why they wouldn't just include a quieter (i.e. lower fan speed) setting, since they've already gone through the trouble of including 4 or 5 speeds. The 'silent' mode is overkill for a small room in terms of the air processing power, and thus it's also rather loud in a small room, if one is using it at night while trying to sleep.3) The lights and beeps... very, very bad! Yes, the musical chimes are nice, but there's no way to turn these things off! Even in 'night' mode, the lights are still displayed for the speed of the fan, etc, and they are bright - they easily cause some very distracting light at night (we throw a folded beach towel over the display and that blocks the light adequately, and still allows the unit to function). But the beeps that happen every time you press a button! At night, if you're trying to adjust the speed of the fan while someone else is sleeping, it would easily wake them up. Since the unit includes a 'night' mode, it's incredibly perplexing and frustrating why they wouldn't have had all of the lights and sounds be deactivated in this mode. (as it is, the only difference in regular mode from night mode is that the giant, super-bright 'on' light is no longer illuminated during the 'night' mode).4) It dries the air. This could be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on where it's used.In terms of the shipping speed, this was great. Arrived a day earlier than expected.

My grandson has allergies and I bought this for him helped very much. Great Product..

It was a fast delivery but a total disappointment. The purifier was very loud even on the low speed and the smell was somewhat strong chemical which is very strange for air purifier. I returned it immediately back and have to pay premium for recorded delivery abroad. Very bad experience both with a seller who I had to chase for money return and the producer..

Does a great job at purifying the air, however there is supposed to be a night mode feature that enables you to turn the light off at night. It does not work. I called the company directly and they said that this is a known defect and they put me on a list to possibly have a replacement sent when their next shipment arrived. After waiting a very long time I called them back and they said the next shipment had arrived, but they had the same problem. I have not heard from them since and I do not expect a resolution. I just run it during the day and turn it off before I go to bed. It is also fairly loud.
