Fantastic Muff style pedal.
Love it. Amazing value and a great sound. Used it at my very next gig, after it arrived and it was perfect for the job.

TC Electronic Honey Pot fuzz pedal
This Big Muff clone is one of TC Electronic's better pedals. The Honey Pot's signature tone is a fabulous, interminable smooth sustain coloured by a judicious helping of filthy '60s fuzz. My best guess is that most guitarists would typically use this device with the tone slightly below half way (to tame the highs), the sustain reigned in to between a third and a half its capability and the level a little above unity. Excellent.

Good quality, solid build, good fuzz sound for the £ - good value.
Really solidly built pedal with metal chassis comparable to BOSS build quality. Bigger foot print than a BOSS pedal though, with top mounted input/output/9VDC ports. Simple 3 control layout and "silent" foot switch on/off operation - which you either love or loathe. Finally the sound - it's taken me a while to dial in the sound I was after (thinking Muse - plug-in-baby kinda thing) it's ok for £25ish pedal, think the BOSS Fuzz has more distortion/fuzz variations but it's also 5 x the price.

Unbelievably good pedal
This pedal is absolutely fabulous for real graunchy high gain lead work. Yes it's a fuzz but it's very smooth rather than gritty (suggest the Rusty Fuzz if that's what you're looking for). The range of gain, volume and tone is huge and sounds amazing with some layered delay over it. Totally recommend.

Fuzzy Greatness!🙃
Love it. Wanted a muff alternative and this is it. First thing I noticed was how quiet the pedal background noise is. Pedal engaged and lit up and I thought it was broken until I played a note.. great fuzzy tones for white stripes, black keys vibe. Ended up buying a dark matter to go with it, bargains. Tried the mojo mojo and didn’t like it so I’m glad it didn’t put me of TC gear. Time to sell some Boss hardware!!

New favourite pedal?
Wow, loads of power in this pedal and a lot of smooth fuzz, a great pedal for the money. Only negative... you need to unscrew the box if you want to use batteries.

Splendid Fuzz Pedal!
I am a young beginner guitarist and have been playing guitar for about a year now. I was looking for a good fuzz pedal to add to my small pedalboard, and after some online research, i found the Tc electronic honeypot fuzz pedal. It was so affordable, i almost thought it was too good to be true! When amazon delivered it to my door, i was just itching to plug my guitar in and try the pedal out! I ran my fender strat thru it, into a fender Champion 20 amp. The tones in this pedal are amazing! With the sustain knob down, its a more gritty yet subtle sound. At noon, the sustain knob has a bit of distortion, still a bit tame-sounding. Crank sustain all the way up, and you get a thick, saturated wall of fuzziness!! (Which is my preferred setting!) the tone knob is very useful as well, going from a deep, growly sound on the left side, to a tight, top-end grind on the right side. This pedal has an aggressive low note response, but on high notes it is clear as a bell, smooth and rough at the same time! I know the honeypot fuzz is based off of the big muff pi, but it also has some unique sound of it's own. I recommend keeping the pedal volume at 9 o' clock or slightly above. It might depend on the type of amplifier you have though. If you have too much gain on your amp/volume on pedal with sustain full-blast, it'll turn muddy, based on my experience with my little practice amp. (That may differ from amp to amp-!) It is quite a loud pedal! I put the volume to about 9:00 to equalize the volume. This fuzzbox has surprisingly silent operation, even at high sustain levels. I took it to an open mic and used it in my performance along with a wah pedal and a behringer vp1 phaser, and it did wonderful! (I got a great reaction out of the crowd) it takes 9 volt batteries or a dc plug, in this case, i used batteries for mobility. Overall, i'm very satisfied with my purchase. I appreciate my new stompbox not just for what it's trying to emulate, but also for it's own unique sound. want a great-sounding fuzz pedal at a unbelievably great price? this is the one! 🎸🎛🎶 {NOTE: if you desire "velcro ripping" fuzz, the honey-pot may not suit your needs, for It is more "wooly", with a singing, melodic character. You can still get an edgy sound out of it, but if a loose, splatty, untamed fuzz tone is what you've been running after, turn toward TC Electronics Rusty Fuzz, which is more like a fuzzface or fz-3. It is the "brother" of the honeypot fuzz, and is impressive all the same.}

Smooth fuzz
I’m not really into fuzz, but this one gives me a smooth lead tone that’s somewhere in between fuzz and distortion… not that spitty , gritty sound that many seem to like. Think late 70’s Gilmour
