Glad Compostable OdorShield Quick-Tie Small Trash Bags, Fresh Clean Scent, 2.6 Gallon, 20 Count

This product works great. I no longer have to clean my compost garbage can of slimy food waste. However do not leave very wet items sit for too long (more than 5 days) as the bag starts to break down. I will be purchasing it again.

I've ordered compostable bags before and thought I was reordering the same type. However, these do not have "wings" that make the bag easy to tie. These bags rip, both along seams and in other areas, and they tear through as I'm trying to remove the bag liner from the compost container. I have not had that problem with any other bag. It's an awful experience and I end up double bagging a leaking pile of food waste. I would pick a different product.

These bags are extremely delicate, but this batch was REALLY bad. Even with this issue I continue to buy them, because they mask odor and hold up really well. I contacted the seller and explained my situation and they kindly gave me a full refund. I would have no problem buying from them again!

We found larger quantities for much less money at Costco. The bags work fine but are too costly per bag.

They do turn to mush if you don't empty your compost pail every couple of days so I still have to use a grocery plastic bag underneath. Also, it's much bigger than your normal size counter top compost pail and shows 3" out of the top of the pail. I think my pail is about 1.5- 2 gallon size. We empty 1-2x a week. It does cut back on the drippy goop though as you just pitch the whole thing into the compost. I'd buy more just for that reason but only at the right price.

I use these for our bathroom garbage cans and to clean up/scoop out the litter box. These don't fall apart after a few days, which is perfect for our needs. And I feel better that they are compostable.

Horrible, maybe I got a bad batch but with all 3 boxes I bought the bags tore apart when opening. I contacted GLAD and they sent me a gift cert for $14.00 or so. If they would have sent replacements that worked I might have bought them again but it wasn't worth the effort.

Works great, doesn't leak and easy to use. Tho it is very pricey. I will be looking for and trying out some other alternatives to see how others do.
