It's an amazing book, which gives an interesting insight into "what it takes to make a movie at Pixar". It's like a ride through the animation world, taking us along with the crew and we can feel the excitement, pressure and the desire to make every single detail perfect with which the crew worked on it. It's inspiring for an aspiring animator or for anyone who loves art. This is the first of many more Pixar books I am gonna buy. Totally loved it. One day I will surely make Ratatouille now that I am familiarising myself with the Pixar's special ingredients but I will make sure to add something unexpected!!

It's hard to find decent Ratatouille merch out there, but I got this for my boyfriend for his birthday and he loved it!! The concept art is awesome, the sketches are great and it's got a lot of really fun info in it like all of the possible logos for the film!! 5 staaaars!!!

Best “art of” book ever!
Ratatouille is one of my favourite Pixar films so I was so excited to read about the art of the movie, being an arty person myself. This book is incredible. Unlike other “art of” Pixar books I own, this one has a great deal of text explaining the thought process behind the art, instead of leaving the reader guessing. The book explores how the characters’ personalities influence the character design and all of the practicalities the team had to explore when making this fish out of water tale. This is my favourite “art of” book and the price was amazing! If you’re thinking about buying this one, DO IT!
