Cosco Anti Burst Gym Ball with Foot Pump

Excellent product same as delivery service. Ball quality is superb, but foot pump is not up to quality.

Before buying this I explored various options. At the highest end was the Theragear, American brand, which costs upwards of Rs 7,000. There were a few options at the lower end which are cheaper by a couple of hundrerd rupees but I chose Cosco because we are familiar with the brand for a long time here in India.The item was delivered on time in excellent packagin. When it is an Amazon fulfilled product one can rest assured about packaging. And all the items were intact inside. The deflated ball, a foot pump, nozzles to fill up the air (one for regular use and another spare) and a plastic stopper to seal the hole of the ball after filling in air. Of course there is a small printed handbill kind of thing showing various basic exercises.Now the quality of the product. The rubber felt decently heavy duty and does not seem will burst easily. However, the foot pump is really inadequate. It is a small pump and I counted how many kicks it needed to inflate my 75 cm ball. My daughter and I together pumped in 600 times to moderately fill the ball. It is still not adequately tight. Could well do a couple of hundred more strokes of the pump. At home I have a heavy duty pump for my bicycle and another one for my car. I must try them next. But I could not figure out how to fit these plastic nozzles with my pumps. They seem meant for this particular small plastic pump.The ball feels nice and shiny yet it does not slip too much on the tiled floor. But then it is not fully inflated yet. I am just about getting used to exercising with a gym ball and deliberately didn't fill it tight. The size 75 comes in a very shiny parrot green colour. I am not sure it is as per my taste but it cannot be helped. Each size has its own fixed colour.The plastic stopper sits very tight in the pumping hole. Taking it off to either deflate or inflate more is not very easy. That is how it should be actually. Otherwise, if it was easy to take off with your finger nails, it would come off easily under heavy pressure. I had to use a pair of pliers to take it out the first time.One can perhaps also use a strong but thin thread to do the job. Now the question is how long this tightness will last. Only time can tell me. By the way, I did not know that exercise balls have this type of open valve where you have to seal it with a stopper. I had assumed it would have a one way valve - somewhat like a football where you pump the air in and it stays inside unless you use a nail or a small stick to take out the air.Rationale for the rating. As an exercise ball this is absolutely perfect for me. Price and quality are perfectly matched. Why did I remove a star ? A. I removed hald a star for the tiny toylike foot pump which are best used for inflating birthday balloons. B. Another half point for the lack of choice when it comes to colour. Otherwise, if you look at it purely as an exercise ball, it is five star.

Ball is deflated in only 7months. Need refund.

Inner packing was open when product was received mostly due to transit. The ball has some weak stops which are quite visible. Inflated the ball just now. Seems good so far. A week of use will tell.I guess for India they provide the ones rejected abroad. Same goes for many brands including many domestic brands who sell abroad. Quite a difference in quality.
