However the rings often perish and so the bowls move about and the design means the cat pushes most of the food over the rim all over the floor. As these bowls have a high back it means that less food ends up pushed onto the floor, and the rubber feet mean it does not slide around the floor. Also dishwasher safe so hygienically cleanable. I read the reviews and decided to go for it and glad I did! Theres a lot less mess since we've been using they're easy to clean, they're made of plastic so quite sturdy and they're easy to clean. They’re great looking. Not overly big but just the right size to hold their meals. They are definitely eating better from these bowls as there’s no, or very little, mess on the floor after. My Maine Coon always used to scoop her food out with her paw and put it on the floor.
