I use half a packet in a glass of ice and water, otherwise it is too sweet.

What the hell has happened to the quality?! I buy two boxes every month, one berry and one Acai. Last two months both the taste and color quality have dramatically decreased!! If you guys don't bring back the old formula and consistency, I'm cancelling and putting this on blast. I heard one of the founding partners is no longer there, maybe it's time to bring him back.

First week using this. 3.5 stars. The positive things include that it mixes up very well, shipping was very quick, and I have not had any upset stomach or heartburn from it. I do like that they offer a variety pack, but I am not a fan of citrus drinks, so I didn't choose that option. There is a particular amino acid (sorry I don't remember the name) that I don't think is good for me in excess, and it is not added to this mix. I bought the berry-flavored mix. It tastes like tropical punch. Meh. I really wish it tasted like berries. I don't like that it fizzes, but I don't rate it down for that because it's advertised as such. I just mix it up the night before and put it in the refrigerator! I do think that whatever makes it fizz affects the flavor in a slightly negative way. This could be good or bad, but I think the flavor is strong enough mixed in my 20 oz container, that I could just use half a packet for good flavor, doubling serving size but halving the nutrition. I wish this was also offered in a canister. This mix is not too bad and seems to be one of the better ones, AND it is Not selling for a ridiculously high price. I might buy it again but want to see the other flavor options. Berry is usually my fave, though.

I have been trying tons of different drinks like this trying to find the best one and Pure Boost ended up in the final 2 against the Vegan version of RSP Amino Lean. I say the vegan version because their non-vegan version has sucralose and maltodextrin in it which I think is HORRIBLE. I was looking for something naturally sweetened with stevia or monkfruit that wouldn't spike blood sugar because I wanted to be able to use it while intermittent fasting. While I like the ingredient list and the way this drink makes me feel (mild energy with no jitters and no crash) I get the same thing with RSP Amino Lean and I like their flavors WAY better than Pure Boost. I just felt like this is too sour/bitter for my taste (very grapefruit). I can recommend it for how well it works and for the ingredient profile, but at the end of the day I just really didn't care for the flavor very much and prefer RSP's vegan offerings better. Additionally, I don’t appreciate the use of unnecessary packaging and prefer a scoop to individual packets. All in all it's a good product though and I can recommend it based on effectiveness and ingredient profile if you like the taste. And yes, I paid full price for it.
