Highly recommended for cold weather paddlers!!
A game changer! I wore thin neoprene gloves on my hands and used the Pogies on a 24 degree Fahrenheit day on the Knightville section of the Westfield River Cl 2 - 2+. I was covered with ice, but toasty warm and, most importantly, they didn't hinder performance or feel. If it were a little warmer, I'd use Pogies/ no gloves over gloves/ no Pogies for performance and feel. Some friends told me they didn't like trying to put a hand back in the Pogie in a combat roll, lost my grip situation. I haven't had that experience yet, but thought I'd let the potential buyer know. I didn't have any problem when I tried it in a pool. I recommend them!!!!

Hands stay warm
Good quality. I have been whitewater kayaking all winter long in 30 to 40 degree Fahrenheit weather and my hands have never been cold. Cuffs are wide and stay open to allow for your hands to go in and out with ease.

Absolutely AWESOME
I bought a pair of Stohlquist pogies 1st. Warm but hard to put hands in. These snap dragons are in a whole separate league. Easy entry and crazy warm. These are tge only pogies I will buy from now on!

Not what you wanted...
As soon as I tried on the snap dragon pogies I knew they werent what I wanted. They aren't made of a good material, and they sure don't warm your hands while out on the water. Being a member of a Philadelphia based HS rowing club, I have to row on the cold waters of the Schuylkill river every year. It can be lower 40s upper 30s in the latest of february. I was heartily disappointed in the pogies because they cost just as much as a wool JL Rowing pair does, and offer a third of the protection. Save yourself time and energy and shop through a real store made for crew, like JL or somewhere else that isn't this one.

Pogies for Paddlers, not Rowers
These pogies are wonderful for paddling! I have had a pair for over 10 years and love them. easy on, easy off, and not too hot!
