This SuperDesign Slanted Dog Bowl is perfect! The angle makes it so much easier for my dog to eat comfortably without straining her neck. It's sturdy, well-made, and holds a good amount of food. Easy to clean and looks great too. I've noticed she eats more comfortably now and doesn't make as much of a mess. Such a simple upgrade that makes a real difference!

I am writing this review in hopes it will help someone who is trying to decide which size to purchase for their small dog(s). I spent WAAAAYYYY too much of my time trying to get the perfect size/configuration for my own three small dogs, so perhaps this review will save someone else from the same fate. First, let me say I love these bowls. The base is made of a nice and sturdy plastic, they have some weight to them, and their non-skid grips prevent them from sliding around on our hardwood floors. They stay in place while our dogs are eating. The food bowl itself is made of a nice stainless steel but do note it is not heavy weight. Perfect for our needs though. My goal was to purchase a bowl that prevents neck issues. While I liked the idea of a simple raised bowl, I discovered my dogs still had to bend their necks in the same fashion as they did while eating from a ground-level bowl. I like the idea of the 15 degree angle bowls, so I decided to go ahead with this particular brand. With regard to sizing, I first ordered the smalls for our two Chihuahuas and the medium for our Japanese Chin. While these sizes generally worked for them, I didn't feel the bowls offered enough of a change from their original bowls. So, I decided to watch our two Chihuahuas take turns at eating out of our Japanese Chin's medium-sized bowl and felt it was a much better fit; it was slightly higher and just gave them better body mechanics while eating. What I realized for the Chin is that, while technically the medium would work for him, I felt he could benefit from a slightly larger bowl for proper body mechanics, and more importantly, for his large head. Japanese Chins have a flat face and an overly large head. Although it would seem the large is too big for a seven pound dog, it is perfect for him! He has tons of room to fit his face in the bowl (no snout) and still has space on the sides for extra oxygen so that he can slurp and snort while he chows down his food. As a point of reference, I will give the measurements for our dogs: Chihuahua #1 is 5.5 pounds, slender and dainty, 8 inches from floor to top of shoulders. Size Medium is perfect for her. Chihuahua #2 is 6 pounds, squatty and bulky, 8.5 inches from floor to top of shoulder. Size Medium is perfect for her. Japanese Chin is 7 pounds, sleek and slender, 9.5 inches from floor to top of shoulder and has a round, wide, flat-faced head. Size Large is perfect for him. The first couple of times they ate from their bowls they weren't too sure, but they all quickly adapted and seem to love their new set-up. Hope this review helps!

My Shih Tzu who is a very picky eater loves this bowl. It is better for some dogs to eat at an elevated bowl.

Design win! Our dog, who has chromosomal issues and an enlarged tongue, has been using this for two weeks and is eating so much better. The raised angle is perfect for her limited range of neck movement, and the smooth, crease‑free design allows her to reach all of the food without struggle. The stainless steel construction also makes it easy to clean and keep sanitized. So grateful to have found this bowl.

I rarely write reviews, but these bowls are amazing! I have two ~12 lb Shih Tzu dogs. These are perfect for them because the slanted design makes it really easy to reach in without spilling. Same for the water bowl. The stainless steel bowls can be removed to wash them by hand or top rack of the dishwasher. There is a gasket to keep them snug and the colorful bowls they fit into are waited and keep them from scooting. But here is what I discovered that prompted me to write this. They have replacement stainless steel inserts you can by so you can rotate them out to make sure they clean! The 1 cup (M) size is what I use for the 1/2 cup of food and I use the 1 cup for water. The outside bowl comes in all kinds of cute colors. These are an A+++ for small dogs with smushed noses!

These are very nice dog bowls. Love the shape and it does make it easier for my 2 Toy Fox Terries to eat. However, the SS bowls slide around as their eating making noice which spoke my boys and they back away from eating. To try and eliminate the noice (sliding) I have placed two-sided tape in the inside to try and avoid the bowls from sliding around and making noice. So far its helped a little. But I'm finding pulling the SS bowls in and out for washing wears on the tap so it becomes less stickie.

Dogs like to eat from these bowls and they don't tip over. The color goes well with our theme. I like seeing the different colors I have. I like the easy clean of the stainless steel bowl that fits nicely in place. I've had the base for over a few years and has held up. I've ordered extra bowls so I can have them portion out for someone to put in the holder when I'm away. I just put plastic wrap over the top. I don't worry about over or underfeeding. I just ordered more of these to keep for camping.

We have the 2 Cup dish since 2021 for our miniature poodle. It has solved her difficulties in easily reaching her food. We just purchased a 1 Cup dish for our young rescue tabby cat. He loves it. Both dishes are the correct height for easy eating and the bowl shape allows our pets to reach all their food. The stainless steel is high quality and cleans perfectly. Highly recommend this brand.

Compre este comedero porque mi perra (una cruza de Pitbull) movia las croquetas con su nariz hacia arriba para llegar a unas galletas que le ponia al fondo y terminaban en el suelo. Intente quitarle ese incentivo pero aun asi movia las croquetas hacia afuera. Habian otros comederos con trampillas para que no movieran las croquetas pero yo no queria que batallara de esa manera. Este comedero fue la opcion ideal. Es sencillo quitar el plato, lavarlo, poner las croquetas y dejarla que coma a gusto. Ya no tira las croquetas y todo muy bien.

pour les croquette d'un chat, j'ai pris un modèle en 150 ml - ce qui est suffisant- la matière est de qualité - le modèle est parfait : reste en place lorsque le chat mange, ne bouge pas. la hauteur semble parfaitement convenir au chat qui a des douleurs dorsales (moins de croquettes par terre) je vais en commander une seconde pour mon deuxieme chat et ensuite je change les gamelles d'eau (là je vais essayer une contenance de 300 ml - le prix est élevé mais l'article est qualitatif et beau (rien à voir avec les gamelles en inox simples que je possède actuellement)

It’s rare that I rave about a product but this one is great! At just under $20, it is a little pricey, but it is honestly worth it. The two-part design of a small unbreakable metal insert in a solid plastic base makes it easy to fill, easy to clean, and easy to store uneaten food. What’s more, the round metal insert is deeper than many other cat bowls with a small diameter, meaning food doesn’t get spread out to the edges and therefore lost to the cat’s view. It also seems that the slope of the base does indeed help with my cat being able to eat in greater comfort, and the best part is that there have been no vomiting incidents since I switched to a slanted bowl. Highly recommended.

An alteration I would make is that the bowl casing could have the availability to pick it up easier like a half moon cut out so as you can hold it easier and it’s not very sturdy!
