| Directions | SHAKE WELL. Tetra Aqua Safe Plus conditioner should be used when setting up a new aquarium, with monthly partial water changes and evaporation replacement. Add 1 tsp (5 mL) for every 10 gal (38 L) of water. Make sure that replacement water is the same temperature as water in aquarium. |

The big bottle is a great deal
1000 ml bottle. I've used this for so many years. For the first time, instead of the 250 ml bottle, I bought the 1000 ml (about 34 ounces, almost a quart). size. Probably too much to buy, but four times the volume for less than twice the price, the big bottle was to good a deal to ignore. There is a newer product from Seachem, who wonderful HOB filters I use, and it is much less expensive per dose. great for hobbyists with many large tanks. But for my two tanks (60 and 29) getting an accurate dose might be difficult. I wonder why these chemicals are not available in tablet form, say one tablet per ten gallons?

Great to get rid of algae.
When it says do a water change on the 3rd day do not skip that very important. Works on black hair algae.

Good product and value!
I have been using the regular Aqua Safe for years and I have never encountered any issues, so I order the plus to see how it works and it seems pretty good you can actually tell when you add it to the tank it creates some sort oily mix but it quickly disappears leaving no residue behind. Also I added to some of my tanks when adding new fish and so far I haven't seen any issues.
